**COMMUNION WILL BE GIVEN ON THE SECOND SUNDAY IN JULY7/12/15**

SISTERS OF SOULPastor Brian will be joining us on Sunday, July 5th. SOS is the host for
the fellowship luncheon and would like all who are able to bring additional food items. We are
hoping that we will have a large crowd as we welcome Pastor Brian and his family into our
church. A special cake will be ordered for this occasion. Please and Thank You!
FOOD PANTRY: Thank You for thinking of others and donating food so that others can have
a meal. We are currently out of Cereal, Cans of Soup, Fruit, instant potatoes and rice. Other
items we use and stock are; crackers, peanut butter, jelly, stew, canned meat, vegetables, envelopes of dry milk, cans of evaporated milk, and juice boxes. God Bless!
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED: Please review the names that are on our list of those to remember
in our prayers this week. Starting this Sunday these names will remain on this list for a 2 week
cycle. The list in the Newsletter is for prayer requests that are requested for a longer time period.
Thank you for your assistance, Jerrie.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever I do, I can work at it with all my heart, as though I
were working for the Lord. What did your Hands do today? We can each do something to
brighten anothers day. All it takes is the power of our loving imagination and the work of our
hands.
Prayer: Dear God, help us to serve you and share your love, giving new life and hope to others.
Amen.

You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not
with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a
show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw
Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You
may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism. ~Erma Bombeck
