My Personal Bible

How to get the Help for any problem you Face

Antoinette Johnson

2-28-08

This book of the law will I meditate day and night and observe to do all that is

written therein…For (only) then will I make my way prosperous AND (only ) then

will I have good success! Meditate God’s word over and over.. Joshua 1:8.

The word has to get from my head to my heart.

God is faithful to His Word..He will perform it…

Out of the abundance of the Heart does man speak. Fill your heart with God’s

word. A sower sows the word by meditating (repeating and thinking on) it day

and night. It will produce, some 30%, some 60%, some 100% return!

Sow it (the word of God) into good ground. Not your head knowledge, it may fall

by the wayside, it may be affected by the cares of this world, by the deceitfulness

of riches, by the lust of other things, people, places. Sow it into good ground.

Your heart, your reborn Spirit man, (not your flesh—head knowledge).

Your Spirit man is the part of you which belongs to God. God is a Spirit and

those of us who worship God must do so in Spirit, (with our Spirit man, not our

head knowledge, not our flesh).

For those who do so with their Spirit man (heart) Worship God in Spirit and in

TRUTH!

Acts Chapter 3:1-2 refers to Peter and John (men of God--) going to the temple

to pray.
A crippled man from birth who was carried along and laid each day at the Temple

Gate (called Beautiful) so he might beg for charitable gifts from those entering

the temple….

This scripture can apply to me being a child of God from two standpoints:

1) Is the man being carried along, me? Am I begging others for the things I

need? Am I begging God? Or asking God?

2) Or am I representing Christ to another… Should I be giving something to

help another.

Verse Acts 3:3. The man asked for help, he asked Peter and John for a gift…

If I am the man in need---I should be ASKING God for help, for an answer…Am I

asking for the Real answer? Or just a gift?

Am I asking for a house, car, finances, or to get rid of the pain I am feeling?

Or the TRUE riches—To get a solution, wisdom, revelation….

Acts 3:4 Peter and John (men of God) looked intently at the man.

Realize God is attentive to our request. He is LISTENING to our request.

Acts 3:4 Peter and John Asked the man to “Look at us”.

Am I looking to God for the answer, or to myself, my abilities, others, job,

spouse..?

Acts 3:5 --and the man paid attention to them.

Am I paying attention to the word of God, HIS instructions from the word?

The man was expecting to receive something from them.

Am I expecting God to hear and answer my prayer, my request? Is my faith

active? Believing to receive before I see anything?

Acts 3:6 Peter and John (two or three witnesses) said Silver and Gold have I

none.

God may not give you what you think you need. Finances…a certain job, a mate

right away.

He may give you instructions..wisdom, revelation of how to acquire what you

need.

Acts 3:6 But what I do have, I give to You.

The NAME Jesus gave us His Name, His authority to dominate any situation,

any circumstance. Not in our might or power, but by the Spirit.

If I am representing Christ to another..The men of God are givers of what they

have. I should be a giver of whatever I have that will bless another. Be it

finances, the word of God…

Acts 3:6 continued..

In the name of Jesus WALK…

Work out your own salvation (deliverance, answers), move forward, walk it out.

The bible says (KJV) says “Rise Up and Walk”.

You have got to move from one place to another. Not staying in the same rut,

same place. You have got to move up and forward. Not back, not stay in your

same position…

Acts 3: 7. Peter and John (men of God) took hold of the man’s right hand with a

firm grip.

Hallelujah! God will lift you up out of that situation, circumstance. Look to Him!

Read Psalm 121!! Glory to God!

Cont, Acts 3:7 With a firm grip Peter and John (men of God) raised him UP!

God’s help is ever available to us. HE will never Let YOU Go! He will cause you

to rise UP. He told the man to rise up, then he grabbed hold of the man and

raised him UP! His grace is sufficient. His strength is made perfect in OUR

weakness.

Continued..Immediately, the man’s feet and ankle bones received strength!

Feet are made for walking, ankles are a support. Immediately God will provide

support to walk/Move you through that circumstance that is troubling you. He will

change your atmosphere from bondage to total victory.

Acts 3:8 The man leaped forward!!

He stood (against the enemy, against the problem, issue, circumstance that we

face).

Continued.. He begin to walk and he went into the temple of God. Walking and

Leaping and Praising God!

He received an answer! He received the victory! God is faithful when we follow

Him.

Acts 3:9. All the people, your family, your enemies, your friends see you walking

about, thanking and praising God.

Acts 3:10. They recognized the man as the one who was a begger, who usually

sat(in one place, sat in the circumstance, sat in the past) begging for help at the

Temple gate.

Not inside the gate, not inside the Temple?

You don’t have to be in a church to get help from God! Ask right where you are..

Continued..They were filled with wonder, with amazement over what had

happened to me, to you, to the man.

We Walk by Faith and through faith and patience, we inherit the promises…

Hallelujah!!

God gets all the glory!
