Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

...whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom (2 Cor. 3:16-17).
As people seek favor with God during this month of Ramadan, let's pray they would meet the One who can remove the veil
from their eyes and lead them to freedom.

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

NIGER: Praise God for the witness and accomplishments of the Assemblies of God-run primary and high schools in
a city in this nation. Their 9th-grade and 6th-grade students who took national exams finished top in the nation. Nearly
all of the children are from Muslim families. Please pray for these schools and their students, for their academic and
spiritual growth.
SENEGAL: A WAAST MA student and Bible institute director writes concerning the WAAST extension center: We
ask you to pray for the next session, that the Lord would send many servants and encourage those taking the bachelor's
and post-secondary diploma courses. We pray that God will call servants from Mali, Guinea, and Senegal to register
for the next entrance exam. He adds, Pray for the Muslims of Senegal during this month of Ramadan, that they will
find God through Jesus.
SENSITIVE COUNTRY: Please pray for the inception of a Bible-training program that will be launched in
September in a predominately Muslim nation. Expatriate believers from a neighboring country will receive this
training to be better equipped to reach those around them. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide every step and infuse
every student and instructor with His power, wisdom, and boldness.

In the News
Thank you for your continued prayers for Irano-American pastor Saeed Abedini and for his release from prison, where
he has been held for his faith for more than 1,000 days. Negotiations with Iran concerning a nuclear deal were to end
on June 30 but have been extended to July 7. This gives more opportunity for the American government to demand
the release of Pastor Saeed and others as part of the deal. For more details, see http://bit.ly/1HwoXdb.

For Muslim Women

After more than 14 months, 219 of the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram from a school in Chibok, in northeastern
Nigeria, remain in the hands of this terrorist group. Most are from Christian homes, and some are reportedly being
radicalized and used to hurt or kill enemies of Boko Haram, including other Christians. Let's continue to pray for these
teen-aged girls, for supernatural protection over them, for their release, and for physical, emotional, and spiritual
healing. For more information, see http://bit.ly/1GP4k8h.
