Dear Friend,
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and everyone at the
Full Gospel Lighthouse Church in Torrington, CT. I thank God that He is still
moving by His Spirit today! There is nothing that can compare to receiving a touch
from the Master's hand! His visitation renews our spirit and lifts us up out of the
spiritual darkness our world is in now. This is why I love going to church. I am
revived and strengthened when I hear His Word and sense the move of the Holy
Ghost among the saints of God!
As I study the Bible, it continually amazes me to see the depth of familiar
verses which I thought meant one thing, but after studying them I realize they mean
so much more. The Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the
Jewish Messiah and Savior of the world. He is the Tree of Life in the garden of
Eden. The fruit of that tree had the power to grant eternal life to all who ate of it.
Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh
unto the Father, but by Me." There is no life outside of Jesus Christ. Millions of
people just exist. But those who put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ have life, life
"more abundantly." Revelation 2:7 tells us that the Lord Jesus alone has the
authority to give to the believer the ability to eat of the Tree of Life.
It's interesting to me that the Scripture also speaks of the Lord as being as a
river of living water. There was a woman that Jesus spoke to one day as He sat by a
well. He said to her, "Give me to drink," so she struck up a conversation with Him.
And the Lord said to her, "If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith
to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have
given thee living water" (John 4:6-10). One day I, too, drank of the well of living
water and received life! He took my sins away and filled me with His peace, that
passes all understanding. I can now cast every care upon Him, knowing He cares
about me. But it isn't for me alone: He cares for each of us! He understands all that
we go through and is willing to heal us. Ezekiel wrote that everything the river of
life touches it heals. Are there areas in your life, maybe hidden places, that need
healing? Jesus Christ came to heal you and restore you. There is no need to carry
those burdens any more!

One of the greatest attributes of the Lord Jesus Christ is His undying love. He
suffered and died but it was through that death He was able to defeat death for every
man! He so loves the world that He was willing to die for us. He doesn't just love us
afar off: He absolutely loves your world and mine. He loves us with such passion He
was willing to lay down His life for us all. No man took His life from Him: He
willingly laid His life down for us. His love will never pass away. It ascends to the
highest of heavens and reaches to the lowest place of human suffering. No matter
how bad you feel, Jesus experienced those dark places, too. His love is undying and
it never fails!
Jesus is the Savior of the whole world. He didn't just die for a select few
people but for all people of all time! He did this so all who call upon His name can
be saved. When He saves a sinner from their sins He does a complete job! He
changes that person totally. They become a new creature: all the old things pass
away and all things become new. Yes, I can trust He will forgive me and cleanse me
of all unrighteousness, because the Bible says He will do this! The Scripture says,
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9). He prepares our lives so He can
enter in and help us where we need help.
The best part of all this is that the Bible says we have this treasure in earthen
vessels. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost, for Christ now dwells within us by
faith. Paul wrote these powerful words many years ago: "I am crucified with
Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and
gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20). Isn't it wonderful to know that we can trust
in the living God? He loves you and me with an everlasting love. Nothing can shake
that or change that. There is nothing we can do to make God love us more. His love
is vast and broad and deep and full. He has an answer for everything that is not right
in our lives. Let me encourage you today to draw close to Him who loves you. You
will never be the same!
I invite you to our church. We meet at 624 Torringford West Street in
Torrington, CT. Our schedule of services is Sunday at 10 AM and 7 PM and
Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Prayer is offered at each of these services. Come and let the
Lord bless and refresh you! May God bless you always!
Sincerely,

Rev. Daniel Bossidy
