INDUSTRIAL RELATIONSHIP
INTRODUCTION
20
Now-a-day people of the company are considered and also giving more important
so personnel management is necessary for all of the company.
21
Human resource planning, in the sense of getting things done through people. Its
an essential part of every managers responsibilities, but many organizations find it
advantageous to establish a specialist division to provide an expert service
dedicated to ensuring that the human resource function is performed efficiently.
People are our most valuable asset is a clich which no member of any senior
management team would disagree with. Yet, the reality for many organizations is that
their people remain
Under valued
Unser trained
Unser utilized
Poorly motivated & consequently
Perform well below their true capacity
The rate change facing organizations has never been greater & organizations must
absorb & manage change at a much faster rate than in the past. In order to
implement a successful business strategy to face this challenge, organizations, large
or small, must ensure that they have the right people capable of delivering the
strategy.
The market place for talented, skilled people is competitive & expensive. Taking on
new staff can be disruptive to existing employees. Also, it takes time to develop
cultural awareness,product/process/organization knowledge & experience for new
staff members.

RECRUITMENT
Recruitment is described as the set of activities and processes used to legally obtain
a sufficient number of qualified people at the right place and time so that the people
and the organization can select each other in their own best short and long term
interests. In other words, the recruitment process provides the organization with a
pool of potentially qualified job candidates from which judicious selection can be
made to fill vacancies. Successful recruitment begins with proper employment
planning and forecasting. In this phase of the staffing process, an organization
formulates plans to fill or eliminate future job openings based on an analysis of future
needs, the talent available within and outside of the organization, and the current
and anticipated resources that can be expanded to attract and retain such talent.
Also related to the success of a recruitment process are the strategies an
organization is prepared to employ in order to identify and select the best candidates
for its developing pool of human resources. Organizations seeking recruits for baselevel entry positions often require minimum qualifications and experiences.
CHOUKI DHANI RESORT to fill up the vacancies at managerial level.

SELECTION
Selection tools available to organizations can be characterized along a continuum
that ranges from the more traditional methods of interviews, application forms and
references, through to the more sophisticated techniques that encapsulate
biographical data, aptitude tests, assessment centre, work samples, psychological
testing, and so forth. Each method of selection has its advantages and
disadvantages and comparing their rival claims involves comparing each method's
merit and psychometric properties. The degree to which a selection technique is
perceived as effective and perhaps sophisticated is determined by its reliability and
validity. In a comparison of personnel selection practices in seven European
countries explored the utilization of a range of established selection methods.
