Title: Compensation & Benefits & HR Policies Specialist

Job Responsibilities
Strategic
Bring thought leadership to strategic HR initiatives on global compensation
practices from a compensation & benefits perspective that encompasses base
pay, benefits incentives, career development, organization development,
performance management and talent management to meet individual and
organizational needs.

Contribute toward the formulation of strategy, annual business plan / budgets,


policies and procedures of the HR Section to support organizational business
strategy.

Assist the Manager - HR in meeting set targets and objectives of the


compensation & benefits function.

Operational
Responsible for administering all aspects of the compensation & benefits
planning such as merit increases program, discretionary bonus and recognition
and award program i.e. initial planning, creation of communications, budget
creation and tracking and preparation of reports for senior management.

Conduct numerous analyses to assess program results and create management


reports.

Prepare salary analyses recommendations for career promotions or salary


increases within a salary grade as required or requested.

Query HRMS database (SAP) for salary information as part of the analysis
process.

Participate in the yearly salary planning process.

Collect market data to support possible changes to salary range.

Establish and update (as needed) a grading system for Muntajat jobs as well as
salary ranges.

Review Muntajat positions to determine possible equity or compression


issues, make recommendations to adjust salaries if necessary.

Maintain appropriate documentation supporting compensation & benefits


programs as it relates to corporate governance and legal filing requirements.

Conduct benchmark and job evaluation activities including analysis of


external salary survey data to ensure market competitive for both new and
existing roles.

Respond to external salary surveys (Hay Group, Watson Wyatt, McLagan and
etc.) by gathering and accurately reporting data for timely survey completion.

Respond to ad hoc survey requests for compensation information.

Conduct telephone salary surveys as requested by management.

Review survey results and advise management of findings and trends.

Serve as resource and subject matter expert to Muntajat on the development


and evaluation of job descriptions.

Develop job evaluation process, implement and execute job evaluation


exercises, and create job families.

Review job descriptions and provide total compensation advice to


management on job pricing and packaging employment offer to senior
positions.

Conduct job audits and prepare related summaries as requested.

Ensure and oversee the timely implementation of Muntajats Employee


Performance Management process (e.g. mid-year performance review and
annual performance review).

In coordination with the Manpower Planning & Recruitment Specialist, the


incumbent is responsible for the creation, data collection and input into
software of the Human Resources budget.

Review submitted budgets and make recommendations to management for


changes.

Provide advice / recommendation on any updates required to the Muntajat


Organization Structure.

Work closely with the Training & Development Specialist in preparing and
implementing frameworks for identifying career paths, succession plans for
key positions and competency requirements.

Work closely with the Training & Development Specialist to facilitate talent
reviews for key leadership roles to foster the development and retention of
high potential employees and successors.

Keep current with latest laws and regulatory requirements related to


compensation and benefits.

Stay abreast of current and changing trends and leading practices in


compensation & benefits, organization development and performance
management.

Prepare reports related to compensation & benefits, organization development


and performance management.

Assist the Manager HR in developing the Section budget.

Perform any other tasks as directed by the Manager HR.

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in Business Administration with specialization preferably in


Human Resources Management from a recognized university.
Professional certification such as Certified Compensation Professional
(CCP)/PHR/SPHR/GPHR/CIPD is preferable
Minimum 8 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2-3 years
should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar industry.
