Safety Precautions
Operate Safely:
Please do not use Mobile while charging. Disconnect Mobile from charger before use.
Make sure to charge the battery full for the first time usage.
Keep the mobile phone at least an inch away from your body while dialling / answering calls.
Do not use the mobile phone if the screen is cracked or broken. Cracked and / or broken screens could cause injury to hands and /
or face.
To reduce the risk of motion injuries:
- While using your mobile phone, hold it with a relaxed grip and press the keys lightly.
- Do not handle the mobile phone with wet hands.
- Use of special keys / features reduce the number of keys presses
- Take regular breaks in between calls.
- Use hands-free accessories.
- Switch off the mobile phone before cleaning it.
- Switch off the Mobile Phone and external power sources before any attempt to change batteries,
SIM Cards or any other accessories.
- Keep your mobile phone and all accessories out of reach of small children and animals.
Careful handling:
Avoid potential damage to your mobile phones as under:
- Keep away from liquids.
- Avoid using and / or storing in dusty and / or dirty places / environments.
- Do not drop, knock, throw or otherwise handle the mobile phone roughly.
- Avoid exposing your mobile phone and / or batteries to extreme temperatures. Extreme temperatures reduce the charging

capacity and life of batteries and mobile phone.

- Never use damaged chargers or batteries.
- Do not use chemicals or other cleaning solutions to clean the mobile phone.

Turn Off In Restricted Areas
Use of mobile phones in certain areas / places / conditions can be hazardous.
Switch off your mobile phone:
- Inside aircrafts;
- In Medical hospitals / clinics;
- Areas where chemicals are used and / or stored;
- Fuel and gas stations;
- In and around areas having electrical / electronic equipments;
- Areas where any kind of blasting activity is being carried out.
Removing, installing or charging mobile phone batteries in such areas is hazardous as potential sparks may result in explosion and
/ or fire and may cause damage to property and / or life and can also prove fatal.
Drive Safety
Avoid using your mobile phone while driving and respect and obey all regulations that restrict the use of mobile phones while

Interference with Electronic Devices

Use only iBall accessories and batteries. Using incompatible batteries and / or accessories may damage your mobile phone or
cause injury.
Never dispose the battery or mobile phone in fire.
Never crush or puncture the battery.
Avoid exposing the battery to high external pressure, which can lead to an internal short circuit.

SAR Value:
Your phone is designed not to exceed the limits of emission of radio waves recommended by international guidelines.
SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) is the measurement of body-absorbed RF quantity when the phone is in use. SAR value is
ascertained according to the highest RF level generated during laboratory tests.
The SAR value of the phone may depend on factors such as proximity to the network tower, use of accessories.

SAR recommendations:
Use a wireless hands Free system (headphone, headset) with lower Bluetooth emitter.

2 iBall Andi5 LiOperation and Preparation

Battery Charging
If this navigator is first used, please use Power adaptor to fully charge it.
1. Apply the power adaptor to charge for ANDI5 Li.
2.Please wait until it is fully charged and dont pull out the adaptor while charging. When it is fully-charged, the display indicates
battery charged 100%.
2.3 ANDI5 Li Status and Notification
Notification icons
When some remind message appears in your notification window, please click column and slip the screen to open the reminder list.
Choose the menu you need, and confirm the information. Then you can close the notification window through clicking the column to
Andi5 Li up. Please refer to below status icons:

Notification Bar
Notification icons will work while receiving emails, Wi-Fi is open, etc. and you can open theNotification barto view the detailed
information.

When the notification column shows new notification icon, please hold the column and slip down your finger, then the notification bar
is opened.
Quick Start Guide
3.2 Startup and Shutdown
Start-up
Press POWER key for three seconds, you can enter into start-up picture. The system enters into screen lock status, please unlock it.
Shutdown
1Long press POWER key, it will popup shutdown window.
2Shutdown window contains mute mode, airplane mode and shutdown three options.
3Click Shutdown
3.3 Open and Close of the Screen
Screen will be closed on its own when no operation happens.
1. Screen will be closed on its own if no operation happens for some time to save battery power
2. When screen is open, press POWER key, the screen will be closed immediately.
Open the screen when it is closed.
If the screen is closed, short press POWER to open the screen. The screen will be locked open it, it will show the picture as below

3.5 Home Page

Main interface as below, long press the blank and it will popup windows to set wallpaper, folder, widgets, and shortcut.

Android 4.1.2systems make the function of creating new folder become much easier. Operations are as below
1. Drag the icons need to be put together on one icon (can also overlay several icons)
2. Then click the overplayed icons, the applications can be folded, Click the unnamed folder in the black box, it will pop up the hidden
keyboard, the folder name can be renamed, the icons position can be changed through long press.
Change the wallpaper of desktop
1. In home page, long press any blank space (desktop) in main screen it will pop up a window to change the wallpaper.
2. Click the gallery, live wallpaper or Wallpapers option to select and set the wallpaper.

3.8 Typing words

Use the screen keyboard
When you start the procedure or choose the words or numbers edition, it will show the screen keyboard. The keyboard contains
below typing options:

3. In the text setting area will reveal all the installed words-typing methods in your ANDI5 Li.

3.9 Operation Technique

Enter widgets interface
In the application interface, click widgets Andi5 Li the screen, it will switch into widgets interface. Long press any widget to create its
shortcut, then you can enter into the application through the shortcut icon.
Create application shortcut icons in the desktop
In the application interface or widgets interface, long press any icon to switch into desktop automatically, drag and hold the icon, you
can move to any position in the desktop.
Remind:System will require you to make more choice and then you can active this widget. If the target position has no space, the
widget wont be added in the main screen.
Settings
SIM Management
SIM Information: the Inserted SIM will detect here, you can do on/off the SIM services.
Default SIM: You can set the default SIM card for following servies
Voice Call - You can set the default dial, whenever you dial any number it will dial from this (selected) SIM. You can also set Always
Ask option. The Pop will give you option every time of both SIM before you dial.
Video Call - You can set a SIM card for video Calling.
Messaging - It will help to you to set the default SIM network for Messaging, You can also set Always Ask option. The Pop will give
you option every time of both SIM before you dial.
Data Connection - It will help you to set the default SIM network for Internet. Whenever you browse your net

Roaming - Data Roaming to set the default SIM for Roaming location & also it alert by reminder whenever you enter in roaming

Contact & SIM You can do data backup of your contact through transferring it Phone to SIM or SIM

Wi-Fi
Connect Wi-Fi
1. In the main menu or interface, choose setting application procedure.
2. Click WLAN, open Wi-Fi turn ON,ANDI5 Li will automatically search the available Wi-Fi wireless internet.
3. Choose the Wi-Fi internet you want to connect, if it has password, it will pop up the password window, enter password, click
connect.
4. Wi-Fi direct: Using Wi-Fi direct feature, you can transfer data from one device to another through a WLAN without the need of an
access point.

5.2Bluetooth:
Bluetooth on/off: Use this check box to turn Bluetooth services on or off.
Search Devices: You can search the devices nearby you by clicking this option SEARCH FOR DEVICES.

 Your Bluetooth Name will display on the Top of Bluetooth window.

Bluetooth Settings: You can control /operate your Bluetooth connectivity with the Bluetooth settings, click by this option (soft key)
Rename Phone: You can edit your ANDI5 Li Bluetooth name. Which will display in other devices which are paired by you?
Visibility timeout: You can set the visibility duration of your ANDI5 Li.
Show received file: You can view the data list which you have received through Bluetooth
Advance Settings: You will get the several settings in this option like FTP server settings, Remote SIM mode, Select SIM, Proximity
reporter, Remote Message Access.

5. Data Usage:
Mobile Data:With this option you can set your Andi5 Li data downloading limitation, in the Setting (soft key) you will get the source
option of Data roaming& Wi-Fi. With the help of graph, you can get the
updated information of downloaded
data.
Set mobile data limit: You can set mobile downloading data limit in particular date to date.
6. More:
Airplane mode
Airplane mode on/off: When airplane mode is selected, all wireless connectivity is off. This icon
will display in the status bar
when airplane mode is selected.
VPN: It stands for Virtual Private Mode. Using this feature, you can connect to your private network through a public network in a
secured way. You can add a VPN connection, customize it as per your requirement and then save the settings. Once the network is
created, select the network again to connect to it.
Tethering & Portable hotspot:Andi5 Li is used as a wireless modem for a PC, when its connected to the PC using a USB cable.
Using hotspot, you can share your mobile network with other Wi-Fi enabled devices.

7. Audio Profiles:
There are four types of user profiles available, they are General, Silent, Meeting and outdoor. Select one user profile and enter the
following options:
a) Vibrate: Select to have your phone vibrate for incoming calls.
b) Volumes: Select to Control volume of Ringtone,Alarm,Multimedia. The low level of volume will convert yourAndi5 Li in Silent
mode.

Incoming Calls: To set your default voice& Video Call Ringtone.

a) Voice call ring tone / Video Call ringtone: Select a ring tone to use for a notification (e.g., new message).
Note that you can override this setting for new Calendar event notifications, text and multimedia message notifications. You can
control the tones for Dial pad touch tones, Touch sounds, Screen locksounds& Vibrate on touch.
Default Notification: You can control the default notifications tone like Dial Pad touch tones, Touch Sound,
Screen lock sound, Vibrate on touch.
Silent: Your Andi5 Li will turn in to silent mode, cannot play any tones & vibration in this mode.
Meeting: Your Andi5 Li cannot play any tones, but Andi5 Li can give a vibrate alert in this mode.
Outdoor: Your Andi5 Li will alert a ringtones & Vibration in loudest volume.
Display
Brightness : Adjust the brightness level.
Wallpaper : You can set the wallpapers for your Andi5 Li from following options

Gallery: You can set the Wallpapers from Gallery. You can set your photos also.
Live Wallpaper: You can set the default embedded live wallpaper.
Wallpapers: You can set the default embedded Wallpaper.

Auto-rotate screen: By this selection you can turn you Andi5 Li view mode in auto mode you can view the display mode in vertical
or horizontal mode.
Sleep : Screen standby time setting popups; choose the time you want to set. Your Andi5 Li display goes off by the selected time
period.
Font size: You can increase or decrease the size of fonts with this option, you will get 4 size option Small, Normal, Large &
Extra-large.
Storage:
SD Card and ANDI5 Li Storage.You can view & check the SD card and ANDI5 Li available space, whole device storage status.

Safely remove SD card

Safely remove SD card can protect SD card and extend working life of SD card.
1. Click Remove SD card.
2. Now it is safe to remove SD card.
3. You can also erase the data of memory card.
Remark: Removing SD card safely can protect SD efficiently and extend SD card lifetime.
Battery
It gives you the current battery level, along with the distribution of battery consumption by different apps like Cell standby,
consumption of Wi-Fi network, consumption of Bluetooth network,Andi5 Li idle, & Screen consumption battery power.
Apps
1. Choose application, after entering, you can manage and remove installed applications.
You will found the four lists of installed apps in your Andi5 Li Downloaded apps, Apps which are installed on SD card, Running
Apps, & All Apps. You can control the installed apps from this option. Also you can stop, move & un-install the apps from your
Andi5 Li.
Location Access
Access to my location: Let apps that have asked your permission use your location information.
Wi-Fi & Mobile Network: Select a source for determining your location: Wireless networks, or GPS satellites. Typically GPS will be
more accurate (to street level) but it consumes more battery power.
Google location service: Let apps use data from sources such as Wi-Fi and mobile networks to determine your approximate
location.
GPS satellites: Let apps use GPS to pinpoint your location.
GPS EPO assistance: Use GPS assistance data (EPO) to speed up GPS positioning.
A-GPS: Use assistance data to speed up the fixed time of location with GPS.
Location & Google search: Let Google use your location to improve search results and other services.

Security
Set your screen locked protect your Andi5 Li with password security.
Lock the touch screen by unlocks icon or password to protect your ANDI5 Li.
Note: You should enter the pass code after setting screen locked.
1) Screen: You will get 5options of security types.
1. Slide: This is the simple screen lock, you just have to Andi5 Li the locked window, and no any type of password is there.
2. Pattern: The unlocked pattern board pop up, there are nine touch spots, connect 4 points from vertical, horizontal or diagonal
direction.Move your finger from the screen when finish. The system will record yours new unlock pattern.
Click continues.
When you see the reminder, enter the unlock pattern, then click confirm.

3. Face Unlock
Face unlock is secure than a pattern, PIN or password, someone who looks similar to you could unlock your phone.
4. PIN
You can enter the numeric value as a password
Click Pin
Choose PIN in text setting area.
Enter new PIN code (numbers) and clicks continue.
Enternew PIN code again and click confirm.
5. Password
You can enter the alphabetic value as a password
Click Password
Set password in text setting area.
Set new password (letters and numbers) and then click continue.
Enter the password again and the click confirm.
Encrypt Phone: You can encrypt your accounts, settings, downloaded apps and their data media, and other files. Once you encrypt
yourAndi5Li, you must enter a numeric PIN or Password to decrypt it each time you power it on. Encryption takes an hour or more
Setup SIM card lock: You can lock your SIM services, networks through this option. You have to enter a password.
Language & Input
Language: You will found the imbedded languages for your Andi5 Li, the default language will be English.
Spell Checker: This option will help you to correct your spellings.
Personal Dictionary: You can create your personal directory; it will help you for proper wording while typing.
Keyboard & input method: The Default input method is English Android Keyboard.
Text-to-Speech output: It controls the rate at which the words are to be spoken for the search engine to understand and provide a
correct translation into words.
Pointer speed: On selecting this option, you can control the pointer speed.

Backup & reset

Back Up my data: You can have a backup of the present data in your Andi5 Li on the Google server using your Google Account.
Automatic restore: When reinstalling an app, restore backed up settings and data
You can select to reset your phone to factory settings. This will erase all your data from the phone and require you to sign in and go
through the setup screens to use any of the applications.
DRM reset: Digital Rights Management ,deletes all DRM licenses
Factory data reset: This will erase all data from your Andi5 Li s data & set you Andi5 Li with default settings & apps.
Warning: Please keep a backup of your present data like Email accounts, contacts, Apps, Files, Images etc. before this action. Also
remove the Micro SD card &Pen drive before run th is.
Account &Sync
You can synchronize your data with registered mail ID.
ADD ACCOUNT: You can add new Gmail & personal web mail email account. You can Add your account of Email, Facebook,
google, Gtalk, Nimbuzz, WhatsApp, Windows live messenger, Yahoo via Nimbuzz.
Date and Time
According to the pre-set, system will voluntarily apply the date, zone, and time provided by internet.
Manual set date, time and zone
Automatic date & time : you can set you Andi5 Li date & time settings , which can detect automatically by following option
Use network provided time
Use GPS provided time
Automatic time zone: The time zone will detect automatically with this option .If you not select this,than you have to set the date &
time with zone manually.
Click Set Date, then click upper or down button to adjust date, month, and year, click set when you Finish selection.
Click SetTime then click upper or down button to adjust hour and minute, click AM or PM to change morning or afternoon (there is
no such selection when you set 24-hour format). Click setto finish.
Click 24-hour format, switch between 12-hour or 24-hour format, the time format you choose will be used on the alarm clock.
Click date format setting, and then choose the time format you want to show on ANDI5 Li.
Note: If you use the time internet provided, you will not able to set the date, time and time zone.

Schedule Power On/Off

1. Click Setting application procedure
2. Click fixed-tine start up and shutdown.
You can set your Andi5 Li on schedule power, it will be Power off on set time &you can also set the time for power it On.
Accessibility:
These are certain special features which help people with certain disabilities.
Large text: The font size throughout the phone can be increased or decreased for better view ability for the user.
Power button ends call: Calls can be ended with the power button on selecting this option.
Auto-rotate screen: Check to have the screen rotate automatically when you change the phone's orientation.
Speak Password: Check to get spoken feedback while typing passwords.
Touch & hold delay: Lets you adjust the delay required for the phone to notice that you're touching and holding an item (for
example, to move an app to a Home screen).
Install web scripts: it installs scripts from Google that makes their web content more accessible.
Developer option
USB debugging: When you connect your Andi5 Li to laptop/PC, the following image will pop up on your Andi5Li screen, it will
sync your Andi5 Li with Laptop/Pc through USB connectivity.
Stay Awake: Screen will never sleep while charging.
Allow mock locations: Allow mock location and service information to be sent to a location manager service for testing.
Desktop backup Password: Set a password to secure your backup data.
Strict mode: Set the device to flash the screen when the apps do long operations on main thread.
Pointer Location: Set the Co-ordinates & traces of the pointer when you touch the screen.
Show touches: Set to show the pointer, when we touch the screen.
Show screen updates: Screen will flash on updating.

Force GPU rendering: Use 2D hardware acceleration in application.
Window animation scale: control the speed of application open/close.
Transition Animation Scale: To speed up transitions (and your phones reaction time), either turn off animations, or reduce the scale.
Do not keep activities: Set to end a running application when you launch a new application.
Background processes: Set the standard limit of processes which run in the background.
Show all ANRs: Show apps not responding dialog for background apps.

number, IMEI, IP address, Wi-Fi MAC address, Bluetooth address, Serial number & Up time.
Legal information: You will get open source licenses & Google legal information.
Model Number: It will show you model number of your Andi5 Li.
Android version: It will show you current version of Android.
You can also get the all information about your Andi5 Li likeBaseband version, Kernel version, Build number, Customer build version.
FM
Learn to listen to music and news on the FM radio. To listen to the FM radio, you must connect a headset, which serves as radio
network. Through headset you can listen the Radio. You can record your favourite songs from FM.

5.3 Gallery
Your Andi5 Li support BMP, JPG, GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, WBMPformats
Application can auto search photos and video files in SD card, and photo gallery will classify these photos and videos in folder. You
can apply photo gallery to view and edit photos, set the photos as wallpaper.

1. Enter into gallery click the folder you want to view.

2. Click the picture you want to view; the system will play it in full screen mode automatically.
3. The pictures can be zoom in and zoom out, put two fingers on the screen, the separate the fingers (gather up the fingers, the
picture will be zoom in) or double click the screen.
Note: when you browse the pictures, Andi5 Li left or right to view more pictures.
Edit and set pictures
When check the pictures in full screen mode, click menu key to display menu selection, you can choose the selection you need to
edit and setting pictures.
Slide Show
1. Open a picture, use virtual key to click menu key, display menu selection.
2. Click Slide show, it will auto loop play(or choose button in picture folder)
Edit
1. Click menu (Top right corner) key to display menu selection.
2. Then click Edit to adjust the brightness, style, colour, Annalisa setting in selection.

Email
Email application procedure contains email setting guide, you can add the external POP3 OR IMAP email account of normal web
email service provider (For instance, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc).

Email Setting
After you click the sending email icon,
you can see the email setting guide, which can help you to set.
1Input your email address and password.
2Click Next step button, choose your email type is POP3 or IMAP.
3Click Next Step button to check whether the email box servicer can receive or send emails
4Input the email account and display the email subject, and click finish.
5If the email box is available, you will enter into your mail box automatically.
b. Delete the email account
You can delete settled POP3 or IMAP email account from your ANDI5 Li.

9.3 File Manager

File manager will copy, cut, delete, rename the documents or the folder in the TF card, it also will share the files, install APK etc.
In the main menu or desktop, click the document manager icon

C. Install apkfile-Choose the file suffixed .apk in the file manager; you can install the third part software as reminder.
D. Build new folder: Choose the menu you want to build the file, click Menu key, choose new folder, you can build new folder as
reminder.
Sound Recorder
In the main interface or desktop, click recorder icon
to enter into record interface, click record key
to start record. Click
Stop key
to stop recording. Click Play key
to play the recorded sound. The system will auto remind you to use or
abandon this record, please choose it manually.
Play the record: choose the video player to play the recorded sound, choose the recorded sound in the source manager, and click it
to play.

10.1 Installation
Install the third party application procedure
You can gain the third party application procedure which match the Android system from internet, and install it by yourself in ANDI5
Li. Copy the application procedure into SD card, and insert in the ANDI5 Li.
1. Click file manager application procedure; choose the application procedure you need to install.
2. Hold the application procedure you need to install.
1. It popup install, click install apk.
2. Finish the installation as guide, it will operate.
Note: The third party procedures searched from internet to use on the system are all suffixed with .apk.

10.2 Uninstall
Uninstall application procedure
1. Click setting icon in main interface.
2. Click manages application procedure, list all the application procedures installed in the system.
3. Click the APK you want to uninstall, click uninstall.
4. Click confirm to finish uninstallation
Skill: The procedure manager installed by system has many convenient methods to install, after opening procedure manager,
click uninstall, it will list all the application procedures installed by system.

Maps

Use this application to pinpoint the location of the device, search for places, or get directions.
Tap Maps on the Applications screen.
This application may not be available depending on the region or service provider.
Viewing maps. Scroll in any direction to view a location or find your way. To zoom in or out the map, spread two fingers apart on
the screen to zoom in, and pinch to zoom out.
To overlay multiple layers including satellite images, traffic information, and more, tap Searching for locations
Tap enter an address, and then tap . Select a location to view the detailed location information. To search for nearby locations, tap.
Once the location is found, tap and use one of the following functions:
Clear Map: Clear the map.
Make available offline: Save the map of a specified area to view it offline.
Settings: Change the map settings.
Help: View information about using the map. To view current location, tap.

Use this application to share location information with friends. Tap Latitude on the Applications screen.
This application may not be available depending on the region or service provider. To add a friend with whom location information is
shared, tap Select from Contacts or Add via email address. Select one from contacts or enter an email address, and then tap Add
friends to send an invitation. Once the invitation is accepted, either party can know where the other party is located. Navigation Use
this application to search for a route to a destination. Tap Navigation on the Applications screen.
Navigation maps, your current location, and other navigational data may differ from actual location information. You should always
pay attention to road conditions, traffic, and any other factors that may affect your driving. Follow all safety warnings and regulations
while driving.

YouTube

Use this application to watch videos from the YouTube website.

Tap YouTube on the Applications screen. This application may not be available depending on the region or service provider. Watching
videos Tap, and then enter a keyword. Select one of the returned search results to watch a video.

Play Store

Use this application to purchase and download applications and games that are able to run your Andi5 Li
Tap on Play Store application
Installing Applications:
Browse the play store & search the require contents with keywords. Select an application tap the price & follow on screen
instructions to complete the purchase process.
When a new version available for any installed application, an update icon appears at the top of the screen to alert you to the
update. Open the notification panel and tap the icon update the application.

Troubles Shooting
1. How to reset my Andi5 Li?
Ans: The Reset procedure will erase all your data/ settings / Email account /Contacts from your Andi5 Li.
Remove the memory card or pen drive before run this procedure
Go to Main Menu.
Enter in Settings.
Enter in Backup & reset.
Click on Factory data reset.
Suggestion: Please get a data backup of your Andi5 Li before run this procedure.
2. I forgot my Screen Lock password?
After trying a wrong password 4/5 times. You will get the option of Forgotten Password.
With the above option you may please input your registered Gmail ID & password.
You will get the option of password change. (Data connection is On*)
3. USB dongle /Data card Installation problem?
Ans: No any data card supports to your Andi5 Li, as the Andi5 Li has built-in SIM card option.
4. Email cant be set or Registration of application procedure
Ensure your internet is well connected.
Make sure your email setting way is correct.
Keep your system time and local time consistent.
6. Andi5 Li works terribly slowly sometimes?
It is normal phenomenon. Please turn off some application you dont need in advanced task management, or
uninstall some third party application to release more system resources.
