Objectives:

Create a two sided folded document which includes a text wrap, four
quality images, a new logo, and three paragraphs of body copy all on
a full bleed.

Process:

I decided that I wanted to do something with Routt National Forest. I

hiked Zirkel Circle last year and loved the nature and fresh Colorado
air. I wanted to create something similar for those that may be visiting
steamboat springs! I then decided Id make a menu for a
restaurant and call it Routt County Z. Zirkel Wilderness is located in
Routt County National Forest. I liked the accordion fold so I decided
to stick with the basics. I wanted to incorporate the mountains in the
menu and give it a free, fresh feeling. I then came up with the menu

Objectives:
Create a new logo on a business card including contact information.

Process:

I wanted to create a fun logo and design. I created Disguise for a company that I created for watches. I liked the chevron I used in the business
card and wanted to incorporate the chevron on the letterhead. I created
the business card to portray a sense of flow and contrast. I wanted to
keep the design simple but to the point.

Objectives:

Scan a high resolution image and use it to

create a full bleed Event Ad.

Process:

I took a photo online that I thought showed a lot of accomplishment,

had it professionally printed, and re-scanned it into the computer. I
wanted to base my theme around Climbing for a cause. I liked the
simplicity look. I used the quote We rise by lifting others as a way
to show that the money which would be raised for this event would go
towards Honduras. I like the black and white theme. I used the line tool
a lot of alignment as well as the ruler tool. I also used the outline of
squares to highlight the most important part of the Ad.

Process:

I figured out after my research that I wanted to reach out to those that
thrive for adventures. So I created a logo called Clymb. This website
as made as a website for those looking to rock climb. I wanted to incorporate the mountains and earthy tones because I thought that went
well with the logo and theme I had designed. I am a pretty simple
person in design, and was going to do just black for my logo but then I
found a nice color scheme that I think really spoke to me. I created the
mountain with the pen tool. I then created a circle with no outline and
used the Type alone path tool to create my title.
