What are the eligibility criteria for admissions to different courses?
The criteria are clearly mentioned in the table showing COURSES
OFFERED. Check these criteria before you apply.
Age to be reckoned as on 31-12-2015.
Age relaxation up to 2 years is permitted for the physically challenged.

What is the process to get admitted to NTTF?

Admission to NTTF is based on performance in the Competitive
Entrance Examination conducted through a simple and objective type
computer enabled test and performance in Mathematics and Science
in qualifying examination (10th Std / 12th Std). Further details about the
examination will be given along with the hall ticket.

How can I apply to NTTF?

The application form and instructions for filling it are enclosed. Follow
the instructions carefully. The registration fee of `500/- is to be paid
vide a DD in favour of NTTF, payable at Bangalore, and is not
refundable.

2.0 Entrance Exam:

Duration of the entrance examination will be for 1hr 30min. The examination will be computer
enabled and questions will be based on 10th standard level Mathematics, Science and simple
aptitude. More information about the program and the admission procedure will be given along
with Hall Ticket. The medium of entrance exam will be in English.
Note: Students can practice in the mock test on our website www.nttftrg.com under
ADMISSION section click on Practice Test Papers. Also, the registered students can visit
any of our training centres and take the practice sessions through mock tests.

3.0 Reservation
Preference will be given to rural students, with reservation up to 25%
For female students, reservation up to 30%

4.0 Hostel Facility

Hostel facility is provided at all Training Centres. A separate hostel for girls is available in all
listed centres except Bangalore (Peenya), Coimbatore, Kuttipuram and Tumkur.

5.1 Other Fees and Deposits

Refundable training caution deposit : ` 10,000/Refundable hostel and mess deposit : ` 10,000/- (for hostel students only)
Cost towards uniform, insurance, tool kit, library, stationery, etc : ` 12,500/Cost towards Tablet-PC: ` 14,000/Hostel rent and mess charges ranging from ` 24,000/- to 30,000/- for six months depending upon the location and type of food (applicable only

for hostel candidates).

7.0 Education Loan Scheme:

7.1 Many nationalised banks offer loans to the students to pursue NTTF courses as per their norms. If required, NTTF may assist the student to

obtain the loan from the bank in special cases.
7.2 Scholarship: Deserving meritorious students from economically weaker sections will be considered for NTTF loan scholarship, and the students

will have to execute a bond to serve NTTF for two years if called for, after the completion of training with due remuneration as per NTTF norms.

8.0 Nominated Students

8.1 Industry Nominated / NRI students: An Industry Nominated programme entitles industry to nominate students for diploma Courses at NTTF at an

annual tuition fee of ` 1,00,000/-. A few seats are available to NRI students at a tuition fee of USD 5000 per annum. All nominated and NRI

students must satisfy all the eligibility criteria and pass the Entrance Examination like any other student.
8.2 Those students seeking admission under industry nomination quota should produce a sponsorship letter from a reputed industry at the time of

admission.
8.3 Those students seeking admission under NRI quota should be a ward of a NRI or should be sponsored by a close relative who is a NRI.

9.0 Further Education

All successful candidates will receive certificate from NTTF. Some of the Universities have recognized NTTF Diploma for further studies/ lateral
entry to BE/ BTech courses. It is the responsibility of the candidate to verify this before seeking admission. Since NTTF Programmes are employment
oriented, it is advisable to take up employment in industries immediately after the completion of training at NTTF. Further education may be pursued
after few years of experience in industries.
NTTF also conducts Learn and Earn Certificate/ Diploma programs in various manufacturing fields in collaboration with reputed industries, where the training fee
