STRICT SUSTAINABILITY GUIDELINES

Green Heart Fair is a low impact event. We aim to minimise the environmental footprint of the Green Heart Fair. We require all vendors
and stallholders to observe our sustainability guidelines listed below and align your practices with our aims and values. To demonstrate a
process of continual improvement in environmental sustainability, we audit our environmental performance in waste, water and energy
usage through the Sustainable Events Management System. This allows us to measure our performance to understand challenges,
celebrate and reward achievements and plan for future Green Heart Fairs.
We require all vendors and stallholders to take steps to reduce the environmental impact of their attendance at the Green Heart Fair
and to adopt sound packaging and waste minimisation policies, as detailed below:
DO NOT bring the following items to the fair:

plastic bags

Non recyclable plastic plates, straws, knives, forks and spoons

polystyrene cups, plates

balloons
All vendors and stallholders must only use:

Compostable, biodegradable or recyclable plates, cups, bags and cutlery.

Eliminate or minimise plastic packaging on products where possible

Do not bring unnecessary items or packaging to the event and take all storage containers and materials from your stall with you
at the end of the event.

Keep your stall tidy and free of litter throughout the event.

Stallholders are required to separate their waste and recycling when using the bins provided at the event to prevent
contamination and reduce waste to landfill.
Each stallholder's waste management practices will be monitored throughout the day.
Stallholders who do not comply with the Sustainability Guidelines will be penalised.
Please contact us for advice and guidance on correct waste management and purchasing sustainable products.
