Resolution to Legitimize Seniors Alliance 2015-2016

A resolution to endorse and legitimize the Seniors Alliance 2015-2016 as a unit affiliated to the
Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Ateneo de Manila.

Whereas, students shall have access to all official public information on matters directly
affecting their individual and/or collective welfare.1

Whereas, the Central Board has the power to create departments, committees, staffs, task
forces, and offices as may be necessary to discharge specific functions of the board.2

Whereas, the Seniors Alliance has been institutionalized as a task force on a per year basis
since academic year 2010-2011 and has conventionally been composed of senior executive
officers and senior central board representatives until academic year 2013-2014.

Whereas, the Sanggunian recognizes that with the current vacancies in senior positions3, there
is a need to maintain coordination between graduating seniors & superseniors and
administrative offices & departments of the Loyola Schools.

Wherefore, be it resolved that, the Seniors Alliance task force be created with the mandate to
maintain communication between the four schools and administrative offices & departments of
the Loyola Schools with regards to all Senior-related activities.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Seniors Alliance Task Force can also be called the
Seniors Alliance Core Team.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, all elected senior Executive Officers and Central Board
Representatives be part of the Seniors Alliance.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Seniors Alliance core team be composed of twelve
(12) seniors and/or superseniors with adequate representation from the four Loyola Schools.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Seniors Alliance Task Force has the following
positions and administrative offices with point persons:
1. Seniors Alliance Chair
2. Central Board Liaison
3. Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
4. Blue Roast Liaison
5. Loyola Schools Office of Guidance and Counseling
6. Campus Ministry Office
7. Rizal Library
8. Registrars Office
9. Loyola Schools Office of Placement
10. Ateneo Alumni Association
11. AEGIS Liaison
12. Creatives Director

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Seniors Alliance Chair supervise all the coordination
being done by the Seniors Alliance Core Team and be the point person for coordinating with
the Office of Social Concern and Involvement and the Office of the Associate Dean of Student
Affairs.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Central Board Liaison be the task forces
representative to the Sanggunian Central Board and be the point person for coordinating with
the Office of the Vice President for all the offices senior-related activities.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Blue Roast Liaison be assiting the Seniors Alliance
Chair with the Blue Roast Head Hunt and be the point person for coordinating with the Blue
Roast Team.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the AEGIS Liaison be the Sanggunian representative to
the AEGIS board and coordinated with the AEGIS board for all senior-related activities.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Creative Director be in charge of the creative
direction on the promotional outputs of the Seniors Alliance.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the point persons for the administrative offices
coordinate with their assigned office for all of the offices senior-related activities.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the point person/s in charge of coordinating with the
Batch Shirt provider and the Batch Ring provider be selected from the members of the Seniors
Alliance core team.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, Richard Allen C. Tee, 4th Year JGSOM Executive Officer
and the only elected senior executive officer, be the chair for Seniors Alliance Task Force 2015-
2016.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, Therese Francesca A. Bonifacio, 4th Year SOSE Central
Board Representative and the only elected senior central board representative, be the Central
Board Liaison for academic year 2015-2016.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the 4th Year JGSOM Executive Officer and the 4th Year
SOSE Central Board Representative, as the only elected senior officers, be given authority to
appoint representatives per school to be part of the Seniors Alliance core team.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, upon completion of the Seniors Alliance core team, a
memo must be released indicating its members and the positions and administrative offices
that they handle.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Seniors Alliance Task Force be given full autonomy
to determine its structure, internal procedures, and branding but must be consistent with that
of the Sanggunian.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, the Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang
Loyola provide full financial and institutional support for the Seniors Alliance Task Force
provided that the task force regularly updates the Central Board on its activities.

Wherefore, be it further resolved that, with the approval of the Central Board by a majority
vote, this resolution shall take effect immediately.
