Emprego Ligado is a mobile-based recruitment platform focused on the
blue-collar job market in Brazil. With Emprego Ligado, job seekers can create
proles, apply for jobs and schedule interviews entirely through their mobile
phones, at zero cost. Companies looking to hire unskilled or semi-skilled workers for administrative, telemarketing and similar jobs can organize the hiring
process through their SaaS portal. The company identies candidates who live
within a few kilometers of a job opening and allows the employer to interact
directly with the candidate on his/her phone, thereby saving time and money
for both parties.

The need
The companys idea was working, but it faced a unique challenge. After a match
was made between a candidate and employer, Emprego Ligado was in charge of
lining up interviews for the employers. However, the company had no way of knowingwhether the candidate had attended the interview. This was important to the company because it needed feedback from those who had made it to the interview.
And, so, Emprego Ligado was looking for a solution that could provide this important information.

The solution
Knowlaritys cloud telephony solution helped Emprego
Ligado make automated outbound calls to nd this out. Once
the company provided its list of candidates, through the
outbound calling solution, calls were made to all shortlisted
candidates, and an IVR prompted them to conrm their
attendance.
The message was pre-recorded in Portuguese and the calls
were made daily from 9 AM to 8 PM, Brazilian time. When a
candidate answered the call, he was professionally greeted
by an IVR and asked to Press 1, if you have attended the
interview, Press 2 if you have not. The answer was saved in
Knowlaritys database and shared with Emprego Ligado.

How it helped
Since it started using Knowlaritys outbound calling solution,
Emprego Ligado has been able to get real-time data on how
many applicants attended interviews scheduled for them,
helping them gather the information without calling each
candidate manually and, thus, saving time and money.
