General Rules
The participants of the races are responsible for reserving space in the mess which will
later be used to put up respective section posters.
Once the first participant reaches the mess, a countdown of 5 minutes will start, within
which the posters have to be put up.
Only the participants (and nobody else) can enter the mess. When the time ends,
everybody must leave the mess immediately.
There will be CultComm members to guide/monitor you in the mess complex.
The space that you intend to reserve for the section has to be completely covered with
paper (within specified dimensions) which clearly identifies the section. Hence section
name should be mentioned on the paper. Any open space will be up for grabs
You can occupy as much space as you wish but use only standard size sheets to reserve
it, which is a 2-sided newspaper (4 pages, e.g. first 2 and last 2 combined)
Cultprits 2014-15
Page 5
Two-sided plaster or any sort of glue can be used to fix the posters. However, two-sided
plaster is preferred because it is easy to remove the dummy sheet in order to put up the
designed posters.
Spaces which are tough to reach can be left empty. These will be allocated to each section
equally by CultComm after Pub Run.
The sections are NOT allowed to use any musical instrument / sound making device
except drums for the Pub Run day.
CultComm will not provide material to practice for Pub Run; the sections should procure
material for practice on their own if they wish to.
