The Tsupitero Newsletter is a daily Technical Analysis report by Miko S. Sayo.

The report is
divided into three parts:
1. A daily Technical Analysis report of the PSEi;
2. A comprehensive Technical Analysis report of the most active and volatile stock during the
day; and,
3. Recommended stocks for tsupita (short-term) trades, and, notes for Tsupiteros, which includes
the following: the top 10 stocks that foreign funds are buying and selling; the top 10 most active
stocks; the top 10 most volatile stocks; and, the top 10 gainers and losers for the day. These
statistics would exclude stocks that are illiquid.
The comprehensive Technical Analysis report of the most volatile and most active stock during
the day is divided between a Technical Analysis for Tsupiteros (short-term traders) and a
Technical Analysis for Position Traders. Each of these Technical Analyses will include such data
as its daily chart, support, resistance, trend, average true range, relative strength vs. the Phisix,
a discussion of the technical character of the stock and a recommendation. Included also in the
analysis of each of these stocks are other practical information such as the top three buying and
selling brokers for the past five days, the amount that these brokers bought and sold for the
past five days, the net foreign buying and/or selling for the past five days and the news or
rumor currently affecting the movement of the stock in the short-term.
With regards to the "Recommended stocks for Tsupita" section of the newsletter, I usually
choose around 3 stocks that are actually my best bets for a short-term trade or for a Tsupita.
With each stock recommendation, there is a short technical description of the stock as well as
my suggested trigger for buying the stock.
The cost of a one-month subscription to the Tsupitero newsletter is P1,000.00. To subscribe to

Recommendation Sell or Take profits

Recommendation Trade the range

After climbing for the last five days, the bulls appear to have gotten exhausted as prices have formed a potentially bearish
shooting star pattern today. Could todays high at 6270 have been a short-term peak for the market? That certainly is how
it is looking right now. From the way I see it, prices may correct back down from here. Confirmation of this will be if
prices break below the minor support line at 6200. A close below that level would confirm that a short-term correction is
underway. Cant the market continue to climb up from here? Sure but that would be the exception than the rule. Take
note, despite the relatively strong rally in the last five days, this market is still trending down in the short-term and is
currently at the high side of its range. Foreign funds were finally net buyers today but only by just less than P200 million.
Tsupiteros may have sold or taken profits today. For those who are still long, I would suggest to use a break below the
6200 level as your mental stop. Position-traders, on the other hand, are still recommended to range trade this market by
buying as close to 5500 as possible and selling as close to 6650 as possible.

Rallying Strongly but Now Approaching Resistances

EMP was one of the strongest big cap stocks in the market today as prices continued to climb higher for a fourth day in a
row. With the stock closing the day at its highs and with another long white candle, I would tend to think that the stock
may continue to climb further from here. However, prices are now approaching its previous highs here at the 12.20 and
12.50 levels. Unless something really bullish is going on with the stock, I expect the bulls to probably hesitate as it gets
closer and closer to those levels. The big picture of the stock looks a bit confusing. Although prices are still in a sideways
to downward trend in the medium-term, it is now testing its resistances and is trying to breakout above those resistance
lines, which is also at the 12.20 to 12.50 levels. If the stock somehow is able to break through those levels, then, maybe,
the stock can finally trend up in the medium-term as well. Tsupiteros, who currently have positions in this stock, are
recommended to just hold and observe the stocks behavior near those 12.20 to 12.50 resistance area. If it would seem
that prices are hesitating, then, I would suggest to take some money off the table, otherwise, just hold. You may also opt
to just hold and use a break below the 11.40 level as your mental stop.

I am maintaining EEI from my list below but, admittedly, it is already behaving below my expectations.
Im still giving it the benefit of the doubt though as long as its indicated support level holds.
COSCO and FLI are of the same type of set-up. They are trending down strongly but are trying to hold
above current levels. Take note though, if 9.50 in COSCO and 1.30 in FLI doesnt hold, they may
accelerate downwards. Of course, if they are able to take out their resistances, then, it may begin to
rally.
