ZXDU68 B201 Product Description

With 50% - 100% output power, the rectifier efficiency is 96%.

Automatically Switching the Rectifiers to the Sleep Mode

The system switches one or more rectifiers to the sleep mode according to the load power.
The power of a rectifier in sleep mode is not larger than 4 W.

A Wide Range of Input Voltage

A wide range of input phase voltage (90 V to 295 V) makes the system suitable for areas
with unstable power sources.

Capacity Expansion
When fully configured, the system is equipped with four ZXD3000 (V5.0) rectifiers and can
provide a rated output power of 12 kW when the output voltage ranges from -48 V to -57.6
V.

Accessible via Web Browser

The system can be remotely managed through a computer installed with a web browser
anywhere if Ethernet is available.

Managing Data in Batches

Users can set the parameters in batches, copy records and upgrade programs via a USB
flash drive.

Professional Monitoring and Management

l
l

The transmission speed is high via CAN bus.

Multiple protection functions, such as Load Low Voltage Disconnect (LLVD1), Load
Low Temperature Disconnect (LLTD), Battery Low Voltage Disconnect (BLVD), and
Battery High Temperature Disconnect (BHTD).
Users can press the QUY button of a rectifier to query the data of the rectifier or control
it.

Flexible Monitoring Networking

The system provides input and output relays, RJ45 Ethernet interface, RS232 interface,
RS485 interface, and USB interface. The system supports multiple monitoring networking
modes via Telnet, Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and

ZXDU68 B201 Product Description

2.3 Centralized Supervision Unit

The Centralized Supervision Unit (CSU) is the foreground monitoring unit of the ZXDU68
B201 system. It monitors the AC distribution, DC distribution, rectifiers and batteries of the
ZXDU68 B201 system.

Functions
l

Delayed trigger alarm waits for technicians authorization code before informing the
Supervision Center (SC) of access attempt. This function provides potential reduction
of the SC interventions greatly.
When the door with a door sensor is open, all alarms will be on hold and not sent to
output relays in this case, and the correct 4-digit key code (password) must be input
within a certain time (Login Max.Time, one minute, by default). All alarms are sent
to output relays immediately if the correct key code is not input within the time.

l
l
l
l
l
l

Gives an audible and visual alarm and provides the protection function when the
ZXDU68 B201 system is faulty.
Collects the operational data and monitors the operations of the ZXDU68 B201
system.
Performs advanced battery management with protection functions.
Manages the rectifiers and automatically switches one or more rectifiers to the sleep
mode to save energy.
Transmits data to the background Supervision Center (SC) and receives commands
from the SC. In this way, the ZXDU68 B201 system can be monitored remotely.
The CSU can be remotely managed through a computer installed with web browser
anywhere if Ethernet is available.

RJ45 Ethernet interface

The Ethernet interface rate is 10M/100M (adaptive).

The Ethernet interface supports multiple monitoring networking modes through

Telnet, HTTP, FTP and SNMP.

4.2 Input Features

Overview
The ZXD3000 (V5.0) rectifier automatically adjusts its operational status according to the
AC input voltage.
The input features include the under-voltage protection, over-voltage protection, and power
limit.

Under-Voltage Protection
When the AC input voltage is lower than the under-voltage threshold, the rectifier
automatically shuts down and provides no output. Meanwhile, the alarm indicator is on.
After the AC input voltage reaches the under-voltage recovery threshold, the rectifier
automatically recovers.
The under-voltage recovery threshold = the AC input under-voltage threshold + the return
difference.
The AC input under-voltage threshold is (85 5) V and the return difference ranges from
8 V to 12 V.

Over-Voltage Protection
When the AC input voltage is higher than the over-voltage threshold, the rectifier
automatically shuts down and provides no output. Meanwhile, the alarm indicator is
on. After the AC input voltage falls to the over-voltage recovery threshold, the rectifier
automatically recovers.
The over-voltage recovery threshold = the AC input over-voltage threshold the return
difference.
The AC input over-voltage threshold is (295 5) V and the return difference ranges from
5 V to 10 V.

Power Limit
The rectifier limits its output power according to the input voltage.
See Figure 4-1 for the power limit feature of the rectifier when the following conditions are
met.
l
l

Environment temperature: -25 to 55

Output voltage of the rectifier: 48 V to 59.5 V

Chapter 4 Rectifier Specifications

Figure 4-2 Output Features

As shown in Figure 4-2, the output features of the rectifier can be concluded as follows:
l
l
l

When the output voltage ranges from 42 V to 48 V, the maximum output current is
constant.
When the output voltage ranges from 48 V to 59.5 V, the maximum output power is
constant.
When the output voltage is lower than 36 V, the rectifier restarts for protection.

When the environment temperature ranges from -25 to +55 and the input voltage
ranges from 85 V to 176 V, the rectifier still has the above output features. However,
because of the power limit feature, when the input voltage ranges from 85 V to 176 V, the
output power cannot reach the highest percentage (100%). Therefore, the input voltage
affects the maximum output power and maximum output current.

4.4 Power Decrease With High Temperature

The feature of power decrease with high temperature refers to that the output power of
the ZXD3000 (V5.0) rectifier decreases with the increase of the environment temperature
when the environment temperature reaches the over-temperature threshold.
For the feature of power decrease with high temperature, see Figure 4-3.

Note:
The software codes A1 to A8 correspond to the eight output relays on the SIB.
Multiple alarms can share one output relay. Each alarm cannot correspond to multiple
output relays but one output relay only. No means that no output relay is assigned
to an alarm.
Except for Total Alarm, the output relay for an alarm will not take effect when its alarm
level is set to Mask.
Except for Access Ctrl.Alm., the output relay for an alarm changes its state and
provides an alarm signal in 30 seconds after the alarm occurs.
