There are times when everything has to be perfect: the time, the place, and
the professional appearance. With the new Caravelle you create the ideal
conditions the moment you arrive. The sharpened design with clear-cut lines
and contours allows the new Caravelle to make a striking first impression.
The new, optional LED headlights, along with the LED tail lights, create a
unique highlight with their attractive lighting signature. The advanced LED
technology provides a large light volume, durability and a light spectrum
similar to daylight with exceptionally low energy consumption.

The high-quality materials, carefully combined with top-class finishing,

and the intelligent arrangement of the controls. The cleverly thought out
storage system allows for the ordered storing of documents, and offers
space for tablets, smartphones, and all the other important things for
a long day of shuttle work. Adding to the driver's comfort is a heightadjustable driver's seat with lumbar support.
The instrument cluster with the Plus multifunction display shows all of
the important information, along with current vehicle data, such as the
range, driving time, outside temperature, and gear recommendation.*

for up to 9 people including luggage.
The modular mounting system, available as an option, enables seats to be easily repositioned for trips or shuttle journeys with a lot of luggage. The double-folding, 3-seater bench seat is especially practical, and can expand the luggage space in a matter of
moments. The Caravelle Trendline and Caravelle Comfortline have seven seats as standard,
which can optionally be upgraded to nine. The high-quality leather seats in the Caravelle
Highline offer space for up to eight people.
The tailgate's large opening height (fig. 01) provides plenty of space for loading and unloading the luggage compartment, and serves as a convenient shelter in wet weather.
Upon request, rear wing doors are also available.

comfortable. The new passenger compartment is the ideal solution for commercial passenger transport, with plenty of space for passengers, and their individual requirements.
This includes high-quality materials and the typical excellent workmanship, along with
convenient reading lights. The Easy Entry function on the outside seats in the second
row provides especially comfortable access to the third row of seats. The Easy Entry seats
can be folded forward in a matter of moments, and are fitted on both sides in vehicles
with two sliding doors.
The upholstery immediately creates a comfortable ambience in which passengers can
sit back and enjoy during the journey. In addition, the new Caravelle's excellent noise
insulation keeps exterior noise where it belongs: outside.

comfort and space. From the 4-seater to the 9-seater package, you will find a suitable
configuration for a wide range of shuttling tasks. The new Caravelle with a 40 cm longer
wheelbase5) provides additional luggage space or the possibility to integrate a fourth row
of seats.
Easy Entry on the sliding door vehicle side. The new Easy Entry seats can be folded forward in no time at all, allowing passengers in the third row of seats to enter and exit the
vehicle faster and more comfortably. Vehicles with two sliding doors now have Easy Entry
on both sides. The new Caravelle can also transport bulky goods without the need for
prior planning. The backrests of all seats can be folded down even those with the Easy

Every engine provides you with particularly low fuel consumption and maximum driving
pleasure. This enables a low average fuel consumption of 5.5 l/100 km1), 2) with average CO2
emission of 145 g/km1), 2). Naturally, the new TDI engines comply with the Euro 6 emission standard. The 2.0 l TDI engine with 150 kW is particularly powerful, while also boasting low fuel consumption.3) Additional engine variants will be introduced at a later date.

The new Caravelle sets standards in sustainable mobility. For the new generation of TDI engines with Euro6
emission standard, BlueMotion Technology comes as standard. The features include a start/stop system, regenerative braking and roll resistance-optimised tyres.

the vehicle battery during overrun and braking
phases, thereby relieving strain on the engine, and
reducing fuel consumption.

The new Caravelle has various innovative features that ensure excellent traction, as well as optimal handling
and steering response even in difficult driving conditions.
The new generation 4moTion all-wheel drive (not
illustrated).1) The optional 4MOTION all-wheel drive
is now equipped with the latest gearbox generation
Haldex clutch. Advantages include reduced weight,
and further enhancement of vehicle handling and
dynamics.
Hill descent assist (not illustrated). The optional, new
system allows you to drive down slopes in a safe,
controlled way, thanks to the engine managements
ability to govern the engine speed, and apply the
brakes if necessary.
4moTion all-wheel drive with double clutch gearbox

profile bars is available for the new Caravelle. It is designed for a load of up to 45kg,

In addition to the fuel efficiency of a car, driving behaviour and other non-technical factors (e. g. environmental conditions) play a role in determining a cars fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Additional equipment and accessories (attachment
parts, tyres etc.) may alter relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, thus affecting consumption and driving performance values beyond the effects of weather and traffic conditions. Where a range of values is given for fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, the figures
depend on the tyre size and optional extras selected. Please note that Car-Net App-Connect is currently supported by only a few mobile telephones on the market. Volkswagen is working closely with major smartphone producers to promote broader compatibility for Car-Net App-Connect. 2) The use of mobile online services (Car-Net) is only possible with
the optional extra Discover Media. You will also require a mobile device (e. g. smartphone) that is capable of acting as a mobile wireless hotspot. Car-Net services are only available with an existing mobile network contract or one to be concluded separately for this purpose between you and your mobile
phone network provider, and only within the respective mobile phone network coverage. Depending on your mobile phone tariff, receiving data from the Internet may incur additional charges, particularly if you are using the phone abroad (e. g. roaming charges). Due to the amount of data needed when
using Car-Net services, we strongly recommend signing up to data flat rate with your mobile phone provider. Use of Car-Net is governed in a separate agreement concluded with Volkswagen AG online. After taking possession of the vehicle, the customer has 90 days in which to register the vehicle at
www.volkswagen-commercial-vehicles-carnet.com. The availability of Car-Net services may vary depending on the country in question. These services are available for the duration of the contract term agreed, and may be subject to changes in terms of content during the contract period. More detailed
