Instructions to Candidates

Please ensure that this question paper consists of SIX (6) printed pages, excluding the
cover page, before you start the examination.
2. You will have 10 minutes to read the paper. Do not start writing until you are told to do so.
3. This paper consists of two (2) sections A, and B :
Section A (Structured Questions) (40 marks)
Answer ALL FOUR (4) questions and answer in the answer book provided.
Section B (Long Answer Questions)(20 marks)
Choose any ONE (1) question and answer in the answer book provided.
4. Work that you consider incorrect should be crossed out with a single line but should not be
erased or rendered unreadable.
5. Use only black or blue pen for all work other than graphs and diagrams, which may be
done in pencil.
6. Do not remove any question/answer booklet from the Examination Hall.
7. You are allowed to use a silent, non-programmable calculator for your work. All workings

other non-speech audio used as part of a general interface.
Because of these, as an audio composer in one multimedia project, you are asked to come out
with a proposal to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using sound in your multimedia
project.
(a) Discuss THREE (3) advantages and disadvantages of using sound in multimedia project.
