It is not the first time that I see something like this, and it is something
wonderful to try to bring people together. It shows the spirit that we have
amongst police officers. General Omar Jama, we have had many
moments together and he constantly reminded me that Somalia once had
the best police in Africa. I can see why he says so, if I look at those many
police officers sitting there, those men and women. I can see that soon
you will have the best again in Africa. It is always a pleasure for me to be
here amongst the SPF police officers and also to work with them. It is one
of those days today that we have to say goodbye to the FPU Uganda
number 3, but we have lots of work to do here in Somalia and they will
always be the place by similar committed and dedicated officers. We are
looking forward to the new officers coming to the mission to continue
supporting the Somali police in building themselves into the police force
that was once regarded as the best in Africa.

we appreciate, the great and hard work they did for this country to make
Mogadishu more safer and we really appreciate their government and their
leadership for sending them this far, away from their families and their
country. It is not easy job to come far from your family and working in
another country with this situation. We really appreciate for what they did
on the ground.
