Preparation of WPS/PQR for respective type of material of boiler
tubes, plates etc and certification of ASME coded welders

Carry out total inspection of boilers/unfired pressure vessels and
produce repair methods based on ASME code of practice.

repair methods based on ASME code practice.
Carry out inspection of pipe supports and pipe support modification
work to confirm the pipe expansions behaviors are as per the piping
stress analysis.
Liason with statutory institutions to approve and witness repair work
done and other necessary test in accordance to ASME code or
equivalent.
Carry out chemical cleaning to eliminate scaling and avoid potential
SCC failure.
Carry out inspection of pipe rack and modification work
Carry out HVAC Duct system and its supports inspection and

Carryout insulation and painting work to improve heat leakage and

Troubleshooting of boilers or Steam Generator performance related
problems and development and implementation of RISK Base

DESEIN and its group companies is today among India's leading Operation & Maintenance Service
provider for power stations. Desein is successfully handling O&M contracts for all the major SEBs in
India as well as for clients abroad.
DESEIN has successfully undertaken and completed O&M contracts for 4x120 MW power plant built
by Deutsche Babcock in LIBYA. This job involved handling a very large desalination plant having a
capacity of 40,000 m3/day. This contract was for a period of 4 years. The scope of work also included
supervision of performance tests on behalf of the Libyan client, training of local O&M personnel.
Desein had deputed a team of 215 persons consisting of Engineers, technical and non technical staff
to the plant site in Libya.
