society have different views in responding the smoking ban. The latest
one is the MUI illegitimate fatwa which is responded with a variety of
different opinions from the society. The following is a discussionn of
the pros and cons of smoking ban, especially smoking in public area.
People who agree with MUI statement argue that a lot of negative
effects produced by smoking, such as causing death, lung damage, liver
and heart attack, impotence, and a lot of kinds of cancer. These
diseases can cause death. Again, not only the active smokers who are
affected, but also the people around them (passive smokers) get the
impacts.
Based on this that study, the MUI states that smoking is forbidden,
especially in public area.
However, the smokers still argue a self-defense arguments. They
argue that smoking can help to refresh their mind, create some
creative idea, relieve nervousness and fatigue. In social life, they argue
that smoking can establish or strengthen togetherness. In addition,
they also argue that the smoking ban means also closing the tobacco

My Best Friend, Haruka
In Senior high school, I had best friend from Jepang. Her name was
Haruka. She was beautiful, smart, and low profile. Because of that,
many people loved her, included of me. Even though she was from
foreign country that considered by many students she would be
arrogant, but Haruka was different. She was a good girl.
Haruka and I became good friend each other. I was really glad having
friend like her, although she was from rich family and I wasnt. She
enjoyed having a friend like me and there was no problem, for her, to
share everything to me. For the example, when she had something, like
knowledge, foods, or even gifts, she would give to me. Then, I did the
same thing like her, if my mom made a food in which my mom usually
made a traditional food, I would give that food to Haruka. We ate
together, we had fun together.
One day, I was invited by Harukas family to attend Harukas birthday.
I came to the building where she held her birthday party. I was very
surprised when I looked to the building. It was very luxurious and the
entry had a quite beautiful decoration. I felt afraid to go inside. So, I
only waited on the outside of the building, more precisely, I stood by
the fence. After several minutes, I saw Haruka went out from the
building. Oh my god!, she saw me. Soon after that, she came to me and
asked why I did not come in. I did not answer, I only smiled. Then, she
said to me that her birthday would not be started without me. I was
very touched in hearing that and I hugged her. Then, Haruka and I
came in. Many guests had arrived and suddenly they looked at Haruka
and me. I was very shy. Then, the party started. Before that, Harukas
parents introduced me to the guests that I was the best friend of her
daughter.
Furthermore, the thing that made me surprise that Harukas family
wanted me follow them to holiday in Japan next month. Off course I
want because it must be interesting experience. Many people gave
applause to me and Harukas family. I was so touched and on that place
I wanted to cry. I was fortunate having friend like Haruka and knew
Harukas family well.

Why Eiffel Tower was Built
If we talk about the Wonders of the World buildings, then we will see
Eiffel Tower as one of them. However many of us do not know the
towers past history on why it was build. Everything has the reasonable
background, especially for the tower which is to be one of the most
recognized buildings in the world.
Primarily, the Eiffel Tower was built for the World Exhibition. It was
called Paris Exposition in 1889. The exhibition was organized to
celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. The purpose
of building Eiffel Tower in such structure was to show to the world
Frances advancement of technology and beauty. The Eiffel Tower was
designed by Gustave Eiffel. It seemed that then the name of the
tower was derived from the designers last name, Eiffel

Although few realized it, the Eiffel Tower would become the prominent

structure in terms of science and technology. Many experiment with

Why Exercise is Important
The majority of us claim that we do not have time for exercise. We
feel too busy to do that. However, many expert said thatexercise has
great role in making our body healthy
Being physically active offers many advantage. In physical reword,
exercise can reduce weight then our body will become fitter. Exercise
is also believed to reduce stress levels, improve sleep patterns, and
reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes and some forms of cancer.
Beside physical advantage, exercise also brings good effects mentally.
Due to the fitter body, exercise can make us feel refreshed and happy
then we can increase our life quality and expectancy.
How can we do exercise while we are busy? Such question is commonly
found among us. Actually exercise can be done in simple ways. We can
go walking while shopping. In the office we can take stair rather than
lift to run up and down. Or we can go cycling while enjoy the leisure
time.
Over all, doing exercise is little bit difficult in busy life but the little
bit of exercise will help better.
