SOUTHERN DISTRICT

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY EDGEWATER

On February 22, 2010, at approximately 7:26 p.m., officers from the Southern District
responded to the Safeway Gas Station located on Central Avenue West in Edgewater for a
reported armed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male employee, who reported that a male subject
entered the station, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied with the
demands and the suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency and two
cartons of cigarettes. Several officers and a K-9 unit canvassed the area, but were unable to locate
the suspect. Anyone with information on this crime or suspect is asked to contact Detective

Suspect: Black male, approximately 5’8”-5”10 with a medium build, wearing a black shirt,
black pants, white shoes, a black North Face jacket and knapsack, a black ski mask, black
gloves and a green Oakland A’s baseball cap

CITIZEN ROBBERY GLEN BURNIE

On February 22, 2010, at approximately 7:35 p.m., officers from the Northern District
responded to the 300 block of Blue Water Court in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims, an 80-year-old female and a 64-year-old
female from 300 block of Blue Water Court, who advised that a male subject approached them at
the front door to the apartment building. Both victims were pushed to the ground by the suspect
and had their purses stolen. The suspect then fled from the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
Numerous officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Both victims were
transported to Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, where they were treated for minor injuries.

Suspect: Black male, approximately 40 years old, 6’3” with a slender build, dark skin and
clean shaven, wearing a black ¾ length hooded rain coat and black pants

WESTERN DISTRICT

THEFT FROM AUTO ARRESTS ODENTON

On February 23, 2010, at 4:03 a.m., officers from Western District responded to the area
of Conquest Way and Conquest Drive in Odenton for a report of several suspicious subjects
taking tires off of a vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers observed a silver Mercedes Benz leaving the area with three tires
and rims in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. While leaving the area, the Mercedes Benz
struck a curb and sustained damage to the right rear tire and rim. Officers observed the vehicle
travelling on MD 175 east toward MD 32 West. On MD 32 West, the occupants began throwing
property out of the vehicle. The vehicle eventually travelled south onto MD 295 until it blew a
tire and drove off of the roadway near MD 198. The driver subsequently fled from the vehicle on
foot and was apprehended a short time later a wooded area near the 3300 block of Laurel Ft.
Meade Road (MD 198). The passenger in the Mercedes was apprehended where the vehicle drove
off the roadway.

During a search of the vehicle, three tires and rims were recovered from the passenger
compartment and a fourth tire and rim was recovered from the trunk. Through investigation, it
was determined that the recovered tires and rims were stolen from a 2005 Dodge Charger parked
in the 2200 block of Commissary Lane and the suspect vehicle was reported stolen out of
Montgomery County on February 15, 2010. Detectives are looking into the possibility that that
the suspects may be linked to other theft from auto incidents. The investigation is ongoing at this
time.

Suspect #2: Raymond Bailey III, 23, of 3416 Stonehall Drive, Beltsville, MD

ARMED ROBBERY LAUREL

On February 23, 2010, at approximately 12:15 a.m., officers from the Western District
responded to the 200 block of Red Clay Road in Laurel for a report of a robbery of a delivery
driver.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 46-year-old male victim, who reported that he was
making a delivery at an apartment building when he was approached at the door by four male
subjects. One suspect displayed a shotgun and demanded the victim’s money, personal property
and food. The victim complied with the demands and the suspects fled the scene on foot.
Numerous officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

Suspect #1: Black male, approximately 18-22 years old, 6’3” with light skin and a slim
build, curly hair, wearing a black jacket, jeans and a black mask
Suspect #2: Black male, approximately 18-22 years old, 6’0” with light skin and a slim
build, curly hair, wearing a black jacket, jeans and a black mask
Suspect #3-4: Similar description as suspect #2
