THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

hat is a fruit?
A fruit is the
outcome of a
seed. Now, lets talk about the
lifestyle of a fruit. When a seed is
planted, it needs minerals to
germinate. During germination,
the leaves grow, the flowers
blossoms out, and its outcome
becomes fruits.

A fruit is a vitamin element just as
we are Gods element. We need
materials
to
survive,
but
unfortunately, most Christians are
still seedlings, not willing to die
nor germinate. The flower of a
fruit is the source of the fruit,
then our flower is the source of
our growth. Our flower may be
our teachers, parents, spiritual
mentors, spiritual models, pastor,
counsellor, Christian friends.

When I mean a source, I mean the

focus, the beginning of a
particular thing. Most of us thinks,
we
should
always
leave
everything to God, but that is
wrong. We always forget the
phrase BUILD UP YOURSELF. I
never meant you should not rely
on God, but help yourself. God
will not do anything without you
doing your own part. God will
always do his part, it just remains
a question for you, CAN YOU DO
YOUR PART? God will not help
you pray, he will not help you
build your faith, he will only
increase it.

And the apostles said unto the

You are the one that needs to
build your faith but ask him to
increase it for you as the apostles
did above.
If you want to be somebody in life,
if you want to go somewhere, you
have to wake up and pay
attention.

up yourself, you have got to have
more than two physical, natural,

balancing ears. You have to
possess an inner ear which pays
full and total attention to God.
What is a spirit? A spirit is an
invisible element of a body, either
dead which has gone for
judgement or living which is still
active. Now the spirit we are
talking about is the Holy Spirit. He
is the one Jesus Christ promised
to send to us. Acts 1:4-8. The
Spirit is omnipresent and is very
careful and does not do anything
rashly.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is nine
in number. Saying IS NINE is not a
mistake nor a coincidence, it is
the truth. Every law in this world
has a father which is LOVE. But
the punishment does not have
any father as they are all
independent. The fruit of the Holy
Spirit is nine in number, which
are; LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONG
SUFFERING, GENTLENESS,
GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS,
TEMPERANCE. They are more
than one. The bible says Fruit
not fruits, i.e. they are all
categorised under LOVE.

For the whole law can be summed
up in this one command LOVE
your neighbour as yourself
Galatians 5:14
A Christian has to possess this
thing. Apostle Paul was able to
practice, teach, show and
continue these things, this was
why he was able to list them
down.

As I said earlier on, they are all

demands much from every one of
us.
Giving without loving is very much
possible, but loving without giving
is very impossible.

first, felt reluctant to give him,

emotion that can tear, build,
make, destroy, mould and shape
ones destiny. Love is not
between couples but everybody
and God. When you say to
someone I LOVE YOU, you are not
saying to the person that you
want to marry her/him or you
want
to
commit
adultery/fornication or you want
seduce the person. Most sisters
see that as a way of toasting as
you say it. They take it into
consideration and start to spread
it around that Brother so so so,

want to marry me and so on. NO.
It is not done like that, Love,
whether in marriage or in
individual
lives,
means
relationship with God. The fruit of
the Spirit is written / given to
guide us to abstain from sin. God
would not want us to stain his
name.

The fruit of the Spirit is also given

for encouragement. The Galatians
were sad and down casted when
he wrote the letter, now when
they read this side, they were

joyous. It can be used to
encourage people who think all
hope is gone. Everybody has a
purpose on this earth, but not
everybody fulfils it.
Before I formed thee in the belly I
knew thee; and before thou
camest forth out of the womb I
sanctified thee.

It is also for the build up of faith.
Galatians 5 Verse 23 explains

Knowing that the law is not made

It means that when we obey this
fruit, we build up our faith which
helps not to do wrong things
which the law punishers could
find us guilty of.

you go to a tree or plant, the first
thing you look for is the fruit or
little shoot. When Jesus went to
the fig tree, he expected some
fruit, but he was disappointed and
devastated. And Jesus cursed it.

importance of the fruit on a tree
can be related to that of the
spirit. A trees fruit draws
attraction therefore; the fruit of
the Spirit in your life must draw
the attention of people into your
life. God is Love. You must love.
Without love, you are not a

God. This is the first law of love.
Christians are into six types:

Fasting-obsessed

The dumb-like Christians are
those who love God but cannot
pray. The unbelieving Christians
love God but they do not believe
in the power of his resurrection.

Christians are the worst kind of

The fruit of the spirit is used as an

influential implement. When you
show the fruit of the Holy Spirit,
people around you will get
influenced by your character, life
and behaviour. Matthew 3:14-16.
Influence is like an impact.
Implement is a tool. An influential
implement means a tool for
impact. During the time of the
apostles, heaven never for one
day waited for a new life, there is
always rejoicing in heaven as
every minute, a believer is won to
