HILLARY CLINTONS

$600 BILLION POLICY AGENDA

Since launching her campaign in April, Hillary
Clinton has proposed a series of policies paid
for by raising taxes on hardworking American
families. Clinton wants to spend at least $590.7
billion on her proposals. She will do it through
higher taxes, cutbacks in other programs, and
closing loopholes.
Despite her husbands claim nearly 2 decades ago
that the era of big government is over, Clinton is
determined to tax and spend at such astonishing
levels as to make that claim a punch line.
American families simply cant afford Hillary
Clintons big government spending proposals.

$600 BILLION POLICY AGENDA

NEW COLLEGE COMPACT = $350 BILLION

Clintons college plan is the big ticket item of her campaign at $350 billion over 10 years. The

for charitable giving, at 28%. (Politico, 8/7/15; The Associated Press, 8/10/15)

EXPANDED CHILD CARE PROGRAMS = $95.7 BILLION

Clinton has proposed a comprehensive child care agenda for children ages 0-3 and has
called for doubling investment in Early Head Start programs. While Clintons campaign has
not detailed the costs for this proposal, a similar plan proposed by liberal think tank Center for
American Progress would increase federal spending by $84.2 billion over ten years. CAP also
proposed doubling enrollment in Early Head Start at an estimated cost of over $11.5 billion over
10 years, bringing the total cost of expanding child care programs to $95.7 billion. (Hillary For
America, Accessed 6/16/15; Center For American Progress, 2/7/13)

UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN = $75 BILLION

Clinton has proposed universal pre-kindergarten for all 4 year-olds in the next decade. Her plan
would be paid for by unspecified revenue enhancements. Clintons plan builds on President
Barack Obamas plan for universal pre-k for low- and moderate-income 4 year-olds, which
would cost $75 billion over 10 years. (Hillary Clinton, Remarks At The New School, New York, NY,

Education, Accessed 6/16/15)

500 MILLION SOLAR PANELS = $60 BILLION

Clintons clean energy agenda includes manufacturing and installing 500 million solar panels by
the end of her first term as president. According to Clintons campaign, the plan would cost $60
billion over 10 years. (Politico, 7/26/15; Politico, 7/27/15)

PROFIT-SHARING PLAN = $10 - $20 BILLION

Clinton has proposed incentives to encourage businesses to provide profit-sharing

opportunities for their employers. Under Clintons plan, businesses would receive a 2 year tax
credit, which would cost $10 - $20 billion over 10 years and be paid for by closing unspecified
tax loopholes. (Hillary Clinton, Remarks At The New School, New York, NY, 7/13/15; Reuters, 7/16/15;
Bloomberg, 7/16/15)
