Select Type (for Structural Min)
Enter ID, Operation Data, Design Data and Corrosion Data.
Add Potential Degradation Mechanism
Create Analysis
Fill COF and POF Datas
Calculate Analysis
Click on Operation & Finalize Risk (Top Right Side Of Screen)
Save the data
Generate RBI Recommendation.(Takes around 3 min)
Review Recommendation.
Request Approval Approve Implement (All by same login)
Link tasks with the old one or Create WMI (Fill Data)
Completed RBI Analysis

Since the TMLs for the old material might be entered, you have to achieve the TMLS and corrosion rate or make
the readings invalid.
If there are new inspection report and TML readings , mark the TML group to be linked to the RBI Component

Update the RBI Component in the design data tab and corrosion date tab.
If there is any change in the process parameters update that too.
Add PDMs if required to the new analysis
Copy the latest RBI analysis.
Add PDMs if required to the new analysis.
Update the Operation Data and Design Data.
COF may remain the same, make sure.
But POF Datas you have to update.
Calculate Analysis
Click on Operation & Finalize Risk (Top Right Side Of Screen)
Save the data
Generate RBI Recommendation.(Takes around 3 min)
Review Recommendation.
Request Approval Approve Implement (All by same login)
Link tasks with the old one or Create WMI (Fill Data)
Completed RBI Analysis
If the Operation, Design and Corrosion parameters are the same for 5 equipments you mentioned then you can
copy the newly created RBI analysis to the other 4 RBI components.
Just make sure to update the POFs data for the copied RBI analysis.

As per MCE reassessment should be carried out for all the RBI equipments inspected in 2014. So try to
generate the list of equipments inspected last year and start the reassessment process because the last date of
attaining this target is end of second quarter.
For reassessment unless otherwise a change in process or design parameters we dont require any other
expertise to complete the RBI reassessment.
For equipments without any change in process or design parameters the following steps should be followed:-

Map the RBI Component in the TML group.

Go to RBI Module
Select the equipment
Copy latest analysis
Add any extra PDMs if any.
Make the changes/updates in POFs (e.g.:- Internal and External i.e., update the last day of inspection, no of
inspection, inspection confidence, CR ...etc.)
7 Calculate and finalize the analysis.
8 Generate Recommendations.
9 Request Approval Approve Implement (All by same login)
10 Link tasks with the old one or Create WMI (Fill Data)

In the inspection recommendation the below mentioned means:1

Inspection work order: - you will be inspecting the equipment based on PM Job card or Work order from
Notification. This work order you will enter it in the Inspection manager which will automatically appear in
the Inspection recommendation.

Implemented During :- If you already implemented the recommendation select this field based on when
you executed the recommendation. (for Completed select this field)
3 To be Implemented During :- when you want to implemented the recommendation in future and required
plant state. (for Planning select this field)

MCE will consider only Target Completion date (This is mandatory field).- Normally we used to put 15
day prior to the completion date.
5 Mandatory Date is optional. - Normally we used to put the actual completion date.
