Playgolf is a chain of family friendly golf and

leisure destinations. Four of our clubs are
located in South East UK and one in Singapore.
Our group strategy focuses on the restructuring
of existing golf clubs and the set-up of new golf
and leisure venues. Inherently this is achieved
by broadening the offer with the addition of a
quality destination restaurant, gym and spa
areas, adventure golf and baseball for the kids,
retail elements, banqueting halls and other
activities. This allows our facilities to serve
a wide demographic, catering for the whole
family as well as the avid golfer.
The other key ingredient is relaxing our
approach to golf. Our venues are open to all
and we give complete freedom to our guests
to dress and use mobile devices as they do in
everyday life.

Playgolf top management has been brought in

from the fitness and leisure industries, with
the aim of building welcoming hospitality
and customer service standards within a golf
environment.
This dynamic management team has generated
cultural change whilst respecting the time
honoured traditions that already exist within
purchased clubs.
A streamlined operational model, an
established brand and a specialised central
management team have allowed Playgolf
to grow more effectively, taking advantage
of economies of scale. Having built a solid
foundation on which to expand this exciting
concept, Playgolf are in a favourable position
to compete with varying multi-sport and family
destinations, as well as more traditional golfing
venues.

Ask anyone to play image association with the word

golf and theyll invariably come up with the well-worn
stereotype of middle-aged men in long socks and club
jumpers. Belonging to a golf club was a male dominated,
members only affair, with complicated hoops and
hurdles to negotiate before your membership was
accepted and you could enter the clubhouse.
The idea of a fun, welcoming and vibrant place to play
golf, relax with friends, snack, dine, be pampered, work
out or indulge yourself was something of a misnomer.

PLAYGOLF BOURNEMOUTH is set in a beautiful rural location

with views over the River Stour and Avon Forest, less than ten
minutes from the town centre. The club has the widest range
of golf facilities in the area and is welcoming to golfers of all
standards. It also boasts the largest floodlit, state-of-the-art
driving range in Dorset. Since completing renovation works
in 2013, Playgolf Bournemouth is now home to The Kitchen

THE LEATHERHEAD CLUB represents the top tier in golfing

The Kitchen Club is currently open at the
Colchester and Bournemouth venues, with plans
to launch in London and Leatherhead in early
2014. The chain is wholly owned and operated by
Playgolf.

Our style is both rustic and contemporary and we

our place. Whether its a yummy mummy starting
her day with the regular morning coffee spot
or a group of busy urbanites popping in for a
light dinner, which turns into beers and a chilled
evening, The Kitchen Club caters for all.

Our innovative coaching structure ensures that

every golfer receives the very best high-level
coaching, from experienced coaches who have
worked with players from the Mens, Ladies
and Senior European Tour, gaining a wealth of
knowledge on their journey as instructors. Our
28-man strong team have expertise in many
fields from TPI to The Golfing Machine, through
to an advanced understanding of Flightscope,
Trackman and 3D imagery. In addition they
are also NLP practitioners and have an indepth understanding of neural process and
pathways. This technical knowledge allows for
an experience that is second-to-none.

leading golf instructors, Dan Frost, to establish
a premium product, unrivalled in both facility
and expertise. The Playgolf Learning Centres
(PGLC) have an ethos for factual coaching and
use the latest technology and advanced teaching
techniques to create a Tour-level experience for
every player.

Every golfer starts with a complimentary formal

1-hour consultation, leading to an individual
blueprint for success programme. Each pupil
receives digital lesson feedback in the form of
ball and club data, in addition to high-definition
slow motion footage, alongside a 52-page
bespoke booklet that covers all aspects of the
game from tee-to-green, providing a record of
the advancement in player performance.
FUN-damentals group learning from age 5
-10 is a fun introduction to the game covering
all aspects of performance, allowing young
golfers to experience the early benefits of
child development in both function and neural
process, leading onto the full time Junior
Programme age 11-18. The PGLC coaching
model is designed to create a seamless link
defining the ultimate pathway to elite-level
performance, covering the journey from day one
through to a US Collegiate scholarship. Our
coaches have worked with over 50 NCAA-level
players giving a unique understanding of the
entry and exit of junior golf. Our model does not
just develop, it follows through.
Novices through to professionals receive the
same level of attention. Each PGLC is equipped
with the latest advanced coaching technology
including Flightscope, Trackman, Forceplate
and high-speed 3D cameras. Every venue has
multiple individual coaching studios to ensure
a private, professional and personal feel. A high
level of expertise combined with a coaching
ethos to educate players, empowering them
with the knowledge and skillset to improve, is
what sets us apart from the competition. The
education process allows our customers to
not only improve, but also more importantly,
understand.
