Stars bigger than 2,5m diameter are delivered segmented (see Plan800.31) and must be put
together on site
The Segments of the Ring are joint edge to edge in the holes to soften a light-line in case of
rough tolerances.

Connection of the metal segments should preferably be realized through the sideframe and
the brackets of the base construction. It could be needed to support the joint with a
second layer in the back. in this case the holes schould have 150-175% of the Diameter to
prevent them from lighttube Effects.
The Segments of the acrylic cover are connectet to each other with sheetmetal pieces and
are screwed on the brackets of the base construction together with a light barrier out of
plastic. To make shure there is no wrong llght comming out the gap there is a very thin acrylic
foil (0,5mm) glued to the cover which is hided behind the metal surface.
