Mike and Verna Walrod
working with Wycliffe Bible
Translators. Teacher,
advisor- CanIL program at
Trinity Western University
preparing young people to
do Bible translation

Greetings Friends at Westbourne,

Thanks for your covering of prayer and financial support
through the summer. Several trips planned in September &
October speaking at churches plus Mikes trip to Dallas, TX
to present a paper at a Bible translation conference. One hes
been thoughtfully writing the last few months. He, also,
expects to be teaching a course at CanIL in the fall.
The housing arrangement for the college Gadang students
we are helping has hit a snag. The house being rented is in
disrepair. And its not easy to find adequate lodging quickly
in a college town where school has already been in session
for more than a month. One of our former students is
scouting for something suitable. Please pray for Gods
provision.

The 3rd Annual Stampeders Faith & Family Night is being held on
Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 when the Calgary Stampeders take on the
Edmonton Eskimos at 5 p.m. The past two events have been a great
success thanks to Shine FM and all of our amazing fans and we are
looking forward to continuing that tradition.
All churches and congregations in attendance are given a
discounted price on tickets and are invited down to the field postgame for a group photo. In addition, your church is eligible to win
great prizes and giveaways, including signed jerseys, footballs, and
pre-game sideline passes.

Prayer Series
Revivals are born in prayer. When Wesley prayed, England
was revived; when Knox prayed, Scotland was refreshed; when the
Sunday school teachers of Tannybrook prayed, 11,000 young people
were added to the Church in a year. Whole nights of prayer have
always been succeeded by whole days of soul-winning.

Westbourne Church Prayer and Praise for:

Prayer Sermon Pt.1 Pray God strengthens WBC with His power and
that our prayers will be specific.
Prayer Sermon Pt. 2 Pray that we at WBC will be active in
sharing our faith.
Prayer Sermon Pt. 3 Pray that by our love for each other that our
world will know we are Christians.
Pray for each child of our upcoming Soccer Camp that God
would prepare their hearts to receive Jesus
Pray for the Arabic Church that meets at WBC
Pray for our Leadership Boards Elders and Ministry Team
Pray that Westbourne can reach our goal of 1000 O.C.C. boxes in 2015.
We will begin packing shoeboxes at our Soccer Camp.
Praise God that Maria-Jose is experiencing Gods healing power
