NOTES
ASSEMBLY instructions
BEFORE you begin:
1. Locate a comfortable work site. Assemble your Orbitrek X2 in an open space with
adequate ventilation and lighting. Because the Orbitrek X2 is portable to some extent, you
do not need to assemble it exactly where it is to be used. For your convenience, however, you
should avoid hauling the machine across excessive distances, through narrow passage ways or
over staircases once assembly is complete.
2. Its a good idea to flatten out the shipping carton, and use it as a work surface when you assemble
the Orbitrek X2. Keep a few paper towels handy since some of the components are lightly
pre-greased.
Notice:
You will need the following tools to assemble the Orbitrek X2.
Ruler with both metric and English measurements
Allen wrench (6#)
Single and multiple wrench
Before assembling, please check if all separate parts have been included. An exploded drawing with all
separate numbered parts is on page 15 of this manual.

This is the stage where you put in the effort. After regular use, the muscles in your legs will become
more flexible. Work at your own pace and be sure to maintain a steady tempo throughout. Your workout rate should be sufficient to raise your heartbeat to the target zone shown on the graph below.
Organize your bolts and nuts before assembly. Nuts are identified by the diameter of the cavities.
For more information, refer to exploded view diagram and parts list on pages 15-17 of this manual.
The hardware you require for each assembly step is shown below:

Using your Orbitrek X2 will provide you with several benefits. It will improve your physical fitness,
tone your muscles and in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet, help you lose weight.

Start Position
Stand on the left side of the machine, grasp the handlebars (under the
handlebar end caps about 100mm), then stride your left leg, place your
left foot on the left pedal, then stride your right leg, place your right foot on
the right pedal, adjust your hands and stand pose to a comfortable position.
Moving Position
Grasp the handlebars, then switch the handlebars back
and forth in tandem to move along with the pedals,
to achieve the elliptical cycle movement.
Your Orbitrek X2 has reversable
movement. Forward pedalling emphasizes your
quadriceps muscle (front thighs), while backwards
pedalling emphasizes your hamstrings (back thighs).
Remember, if you want to change your movement
direction, stop movement first.

Move Left Connecting Tube (No.24) by hand to align and position Left Slider Pin (No.5) directly above
the hole in Front Stabilizer (No.23). Move Key (No.53) along the groove (up, sideways and down) until
Left Slider Pin (No.5) is fully engaged in the hole in Front Stabilizer. At that position, Key can be
removed. Remove the Key and keep aside for the next step. Repeat the process for the right side.

MAINTENANCE
Hold a detailed inspection of the equipment every 3 months. Pay special attention to components
which are the most susceptible to wear and tear, i.e. hinge bolt with roller, crank, connecting
points and wheels. Tighten loose bolts as needed. Any defective components should be replaced
immediately to maintain the safety level of this equipment.
Make sure all bolts and nuts are tight prior to each workout
After using the machine for a period of time, there might be some noise coming from the Sliding
Block (No.49) located below the Left and Right Pedals, see drawing below. You can add grease to
lubricate and minimize the noise.
Roller (No.97) needs to be lubricated from time to time, also refer to the illustration below.
Roller Hole also needs to be lubricated as below.
