When an artist is eclipsed we know

what is meant, but what of the ellipsed artist?
Embracing any contemporary technology
requires both immediacy and compliance
- as well as resistance and determination.
For what does it mean to be ellipsed?
What are the co-ordinates of this is-
sue? ....

.....Ellipsing is a progressive condition,

therefore it is conditional. Yet we remain
suspicious. As a process, ellipsing is radical
and yet redundant. We should not assume
we know its value, yet we do, unwittingly,
without humor. Is ellipsing critically expan-
sive enough to sustain itself ? What varia-
tions are recommended, and can these be
democratic?

These are some of the questions asked
