Dear Celebrate Gaithersburg Vendor:
Celebrate! Gaithersburg in Olde Towne is Sunday, June 14, 2015; the documents attached will direct you to
the festival and allow you access to unload and park. Please be sure to print the entrance pass and display it
on your dashboard the day of the festival.
With road closures, you will not be able to access Olde Towne as you normally would; it is critical that you
follow the load-in instructions. As set-up and parking space is very limited, we request that only one entrance
pass be printed and used. Each pass only counts for one vehicle not one vendor.
We will be closing roads to all traffic at 11 a.m. Please try to arrive at the scheduled time on your entrance
pass; arrivals are staggered by area to ensure that set-up runs smoothly. Be sure to allow yourself enough
time to unload and move your vehicle prior to roads closing.
The festival runs from noon to 5 p.m. You must keep your booth open for the duration of the festival.
As a Non-Profit Vendor, you must bring your own canopy, tables and chairs. If you reserved more than
one space or made special arrangements for the City to provide equipment, we will be prepared for you
with those.
In order to facilitate an efficient setup, please follow the instructions below:

Arrive at scheduled time and proceed carefully to your general area; staff will be posted to direct you
Unload items quickly without obstructing other traffic
Move vehicle to assigned parking area
Last Return and set up

PLEASE, do not set up your booth until you move your car from the festival area!
At the end of the festival, you will not be allowed to bring vehicles back to your space until the police deem it
safe to open roads. Usually it is 30 45 minutes after the festival ends before the roads are opened for vendor
traffic. It may be longer. We will let you out as soon as we can. We know everyone wants to go home at the
end of the day.
This is a rain or shine event, however if the event organizers deem the weather or other conditions to be
hazardous a decision to cancel could be made. If conditions are questionable on the morning of the event,
please call 301-258-6350 or check the City of Gaithersburg web site at www.gaithersburgmd.gov for
information regarding cancellation.
There is no electricity available unless arranged prior to May 27th, 2015. Vendors must not interfere with
adjacent booths in any way and must stay within their allotted space. The festival staff reserves the right to
have vendors remove inappropriate items & activities, or relocate or dismiss any participant.

DIRECTIONS TO CELEBRATE! GAITHERSBURG

From Points South, I-495 and I-270:
From I-495 (Capital Beltway) take I-270 North towards Frederick.
Take exit 9A at I-370
Follow signs to Gaithersburg Towne Center (2nd exit off of 370)
Head north on Rt. 355
Proceed through 5 traffic lights; after Summit Avenue, turn right on Fulks Corner Avenue, to right on Olde
Towne Avenue. Follow the directions on your entry map and letter to enter the festival area.
From Points North, I-270:
From I-15 South or 1-70 West in Frederick, take I-270 South towards Rockville and Gaithersburg.
Take exit 9A at I-370
Follow signs to Gaithersburg Towne Center (2nd exit off of 370)
Head north on Rt. 355
Proceed through 5 traffic lights; after Summit Avenue, turn right on Fulks Corner Avenue, to right on Olde
Towne Avenue. Follow the directions on your entry map and letter to enter the festival area.
From Route 355, Rockville:
Heading north from Rockville on Rt. 355, proceed past Shady Grove Road and the large Self-Storage on the
right. Go through that and the next four traffic lights; after Summit Avenue, turn right on Fulks Corner Avenue,
to right on Olde Towne Avenue. Follow the directions on your entry map and letter to enter the festival area.
From Route 355, Germantown:
Take Rt. 355 South past Lakeforest Mall and the business strip beyond it. At Father Cuddy Bridge, go up the
bridge, staying in the right hand lane, and take the ramp to the right at the crest of the bridge. At the bottom of
the ramp, turn right on West Diamond Avenue (by Barrons Lumber.) West Diamond quickly becomes Olde
Towne Avenue, and intersects with Summit in a few blocks. Follow the directions on your entry map and letter
to enter the festival area.
