DESIGN OF INTERCONNECTION GATEWAY IN

ELEVATOR REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM

ABSTRACT
Group of elevators in a building has long been recognized as an important
issue to improve transportation efficiency, since elevator service ranks second
after heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) as the main complaints of
building tenants .Anything to enhance elevator performance, e.g., shorter wait
times during rush hours, will improve passenger satisfaction. The problem,
however, is difficult because of complicated elevator dynamics, various traffic
patterns with uncertain arrivals and destinations, and the combinatorial nature of
discrete optimization.
To overcome the difficulties caused by traffic uncertainties, one important
trend is to explore advance information. For example, most of conventional
elevators have simple up and down buttons for hall calls, and destinations are
not known until passengers placed car calls from inside an elevator.
PIR is used to detect number of person waiting near to the elevator. An
RFID tag on a person may allow the system to sense when the person is
approaching an elevator and which floor is likely to be the destination, e.g., the
home floor or the cafeteria floor. Passive infra red used to detect the infra red
radiation emulsion from the living beings. So here we use to detect the living
beings by using PIR sensor. If there is a person inside the lift, then automatically
light will switch on. By using metal sensor we go to check whether Door is lock
or not. In condition of door is not locked, and then it gives a voice message. Voice
board gives voice information as well as we can send text message to LCD. By
using sensor output, here we can control the motors via driver circuit.

EXISTING SYSTEM
Taking into purview the imminent growth potential of fast-developing India,
space management is the need of the hour. The lift logic has then to be implemented in
real-time so as to have a fast response time and be effective. The lift system should be
built with proper logic and circuitry so that it analyses the current state of the lift and the
requests made by people on various levels. The response of such a system should fulfill
the needs of the users in terms of response time and safety. The design for such an
intelligent Lift System is proposed in this project.

DISADVANTAGES
This system doesnt give preference to higher officials in a complex where the
system is applied.
Presence or absence of the people near the lift is not noted.
It is complicated system that focuses only on speed of the lift.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
This paper is motivated by the needs to develop new elevator scheduling methods
that can make effective use of advance traffic information. A novel two-level formulation
is developed, with detailed car dynamics embedded in simulation models for performance
evaluation. Taking advantage of advance information, a new door action control method
is suggested for car dynamics to increase the flexibility of elevators.

ADVANTAGES
A new door action control method is developed to increase the flexibility of
elevators.
