Failures are expected by losers, ignored by winners-Joe Gibbs

Happy, healthy knees

Do you have noisy knees? Its actually nothing to
worry about, unless the creaking and cracking is
accompanied by pain. Knees tend to get noisier
with age, but there are two things you can do to
keep your bodys largest joints bending comfortably, even if not always quietly. First, focus on
form while exercising. For example, when doing
squats, try to keep your weight in your heels
while pushing your hips back and keeping your
chest up. If youre not sure how to perform an exercise properly, just ask! Form is key for protecting your joints and for building your muscles.
Second, loosen up your hips, that is. Looser hips
can help keep your knees in shape too. This
stretch works wonders: Kneel down and raise up
your left leg so your knee is pointed forward and
the sole of your foot is flat on the floor. You can
place your hands on your raised knee to stabilize
yourself. Stretch your right leg behind you, with
the top of your foot flat on the floor. Straighten
your upper body until you feel stretching in the
hip of the lengthened leg. Keep the stretch comfortable. It should not feel painful. Repeat the
stretch on the opposite side.
