Essential

Aromatherapy is a pleasant smell.
These oils are not intended to be ingested

that aromatherapy can change your life.

oils have properties such as anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-tumoral, anti-bacterial,
anti-spasmodic, and anti-coagulant, just to
name a few.

Physical healing also stimulates our
emotions. When your body has a disease or
ailment, most people have an emotional reaction to that. Once that disease or ailment
leaves the body, emotional energies can shift
to other things. Using therapeutic-grade
essential oils for physical healing ultimately
generates sound emotional health as that
energy is no longer needed to address physical maladies.Therapeutic-grade essential oils
impact our physical bodies while aromatherapy influences our emotional self. Both
types of oils have their value and place in
our lives. Which one is best for you depends
on your goals and objectives. If the driving
force is overcoming a bacterial infection,
for example, therapeutic-grade essential oils
provide more benefit than aromatherapy.
Insomnia caused by everyday life stresses can
be overcome by aromatherapy. On the other
hand, insomnia caused by physical pain is
best combated with essential oils.

function and enhance energy levels. It even
fights oxidative stress and free radicals.

Unlike its tap and bottled
counterparts, Alkame Water goes through a
process called micro-clustering, in which
the molecules that make up water are broken
up into smaller clusters, allowing body cells
to absorb the water much faster, and in turn
hydrate you more efficiently.

If someone were to ask me, What is
the one thing I can do to have better health?
Then the answer would be simple: Start
drinking alkaline, ionized water, says Dr.

According to Dr. Theodore A.
Baroody, in order for a body to function well,
it must have water, and in order for it to
function properly, it must continuously work to
maintain a proper pH or chemical balance.

To this end, the benefits of
drinking water cant be measured (preventing
dehydration chief among them), however,
adding alkaline water to a diet already rich

cancer, weak bones, premature aging and

An unbalanced pH can force your
body to borrow important minerals from your
vital organs and bones in order to remove
excess acid, Baroody says.

what your business has to offer. Its also more
than having a great design, because what

great business, if no one knows you exist?

Advertising and marketing are tools
that help a small business become visible to
the community and the consumer. It helps tell
everyone who you are, what you offer, and what
products you supply. For decades the methods
of doing so were done through television,
radio and print advertising. With the rise of
the Internet and social media, a new method
has developed that, when used properly, can
become a small business best tool in getting
their name out to new customers.

that you offer. These professionals have vast
knowledge of the technicalities and procedures
involved in search engine optimization (SEO)

high rankings in search engines. However,
you need to hire a SEO company that is
trustworthy in order to get value for your
money.

A SEO firm with excellent staff
that is fully committed to work towards the
success of its clients can do wonders for an
online business person. It should have a staff
that is capable of handling demands of a wide
range of industries such as finance, catering,
communication, transport, retail, tourism, and

optimization services. Businesses should hire
SEO firms if they want to attract more clients,

daily by use of certain keywords.

markets their businesses but also help them
make more revenue than those sites that are
not visible. If you want to hire a SEO guru,
ensure that they reputable. They should be able
to provide you with testimonials as well as
references.

A good SEO expert needs to know
how the search engine algorithms of the
different search engines works and should

For Hungry Kids

merica is the nation of snackers. We

crunch, dip, dunk and miniaturize
any tasty morsel we can get our hands
on. Now, its in the genes weve created
generations full of kids who are snack-loving,
on-the-go eaters.

A national survey of moms conducted by California Raisins found that half of
their children enjoy at least one to two snacks
daily, with another 44 percent saying snacks are
the norm for their kids three to four times each
day. Participating moms said there are two
deciding factors that determine what snacks
make it into the shopping cart. First, is it
healthy? Second, does it receive a thumbs up or
down from the peanut gallery of picky eaters?

California Raisins are a great choice
for that sought-after intersection between
healthy snacking and happy kids. The fat-free,
no-sugar-added fruit adds a kid-approved
burst of sweetness on its own or as a tasty
complement to other healthy snacks.

As a busy full-time working mom of
three young kids, Im always looking for convenient and healthy snacks for my children,
said Laura Fuentes, California Raisin Blogger

Ambassador and founder of MOMables, a

company dedicated to helping parents create
healthy school lunches. California Raisins
are a great choice for wholesome, on-the-go
snacking, and I make them a key ingredient in
many of my homemade baked goods.

Raisins have another perk, too:
theyre affordable. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, raisins are the most
economical dried fruit. Try out wholesome,
fun-to-make recipes, like California Raisin
Cinnamon Fruit Roll Ups, to help your family

CALIFORNIA RAISIN CINNAMON

FRUIT ROLL UPS
Courtesy: California Raisin Blogger Ambassador Laura Fuentes, SuperGlueMom

Serves: 14-18 roll ups

1. Bring 2 cups of water to boil.

2. Meantime, place raisins and diced pear
inside a large bowl.
3. Once water boils, pour inside the bowl.
With a fork, mix ingredients around, and wait
20 minutes for raisins to plump up.
4. Remove cup of liquid. Add cinnamon,
and mix ingredients.
5. Carefully pour cinnamon-plumped fruit
and liquid inside a blender or food processor,
and blend until it becomes a paste.
6. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
7. Pour half the mixture onto a parchment
paper-lined cookie sheet. Spread it thinly on
first sheet with the back of a spoon. Cover
entire baking sheet. Less is more here. Pour
remaining mixture onto a second sheet.
8. Bake in mid to lower parts of your oven
for 2.5-3 hours. This is one recipe in which it is
OK to open up the oven to check for doneness.
After 2.5 hours, check every 15-20 minutes.
You are looking for the fruit to peel away easily
from the parchment and has become dehydrated. Oven temperatures and cooking times will
vary, so keep an eye on these after 2.5 hours.
9. When done, remove from oven and allow
to cool. Cut into 1-inch strips across your pan.
Roll them up and store in an airtight container
for up to 2 weeks.

Know Your
Vodka

hen most people think about vodka

they think about hanging out with
friends and just having a great
time. But what about the quality of the vodka?
Is it like whiskey where the taste is evident of
its origin and age? Is there more to it than a
wild night of good times, half memories and
cringing faces after consuming a mouthful of a
shot? The answer is: absolutely.

Different Types of Vodka

Drinking vodka means that you have choices
and options to the type that you are going to
have. There are Russian vodkas, neutral vodka,
flavored vodka and regional touch. This can
get tricky considering the amount of brands
that are out there. One look in to a liquor
store and youll be met with a wall of different
bottles to sample, which may be tempting to
do right away, but here are some tips to help
you.

Look for the unknown brands. There
will always be the big brand names in vodka,
but you will find hidden gems if you explore
some of the lesser known labels. Some of the
smoothest vodkas are distilled by some of the
smallest distillers who take great pride in their
craft and these boutique vodkas can really
change your view of this liquor as a whole. That
said, it is a rough business and unfortunately
many of these brands do not stay around for
long. If you find a great boutique vodka you
enjoy, support them and tell them (almost
everyone can be found online and via social
media)

to the placement of vodkas to determine their

quality. It is standard practice that the cheaper

vodkas are on the bottom shelves (often those

expensive vodkas (top-shelf ) are higher up. If

youre looking for a good, mid-range vodka
and the cheaper the vodka, the more harsh it
will be. If youre mixing drinks with a lot of fruit that is great in a variety of cocktails and may

loving it or hating it.
However, if you go up one price increment,
you are likely to find the quality improves
significantly.
In Conclusion

Top-shelf means higher quality. Next
time you are at the liquor store, pay attention
Vodka is subjective. As with all liquor, everyone

is not going to like the same brands and this

is very true for vodka. You can read all of the
reviews available, ask everyone you know,
and you will end up with too many different
opinions to distinguish which is the best. Use
these opinions as a guide, but we encourage
everyone to experiment on their own because
everyones tastes are different and what
someone else may find pleasing, you may not,
and, after all, youre the one drinking it, right?
