Objective
Seeking a position to utilize my skills and abilities in Telecommunication field that offers ample
opportunities.

Work experience
3.5 YEARS of telecommunication industry experience in GSM based wireless network. & 3g WCDMA.
During this period I have been associated with.
2 .5 Year Optimization Optimizing various parameters to maintain the KPI.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-

SCFT, Cluster Optimization & RF Coverage AT of assigned BSC & Clusters.

Analyze the Drive test Logs for maintaining the various KPI like CSSR, Dropped Call both in Dual
Mode and UMTS, Soft Handover Success Rate, Soft Handover Overhead, Hard Handover
Success Rate, 3G to 2G and 2G to 3G cell Reselection, PDP context Activation Time (i.e. Ping
test), CS and PS handover Success Rate(3G to 2G and 2G to 3G).
Verification of RSCP, Ec/Io and SC. Analysis of various events such as 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e,1f, 2d, 2f
and 3a.
FTP test for both HSDPA and R99 (UMTS) and to verify the Download Speed on both the
Technologies.
Neighbor Tuning both for 2G and 3G Neighbor List.
To Check the Pilot Pollution with the Scanner and to verify the Areas with more than three Active set
in the reporting ranges and suggest the necessary physical changes that are need to be made.

Pro active radio network optimization by monitoring KPI statistics e.g. SDCCH blocking, SDCCH
drop, TCH assignment, TCH blocking, TCH drop, HO success rate etc on day to day basis and
utilizing the resources to meet the standards.
Suspecting Hardware faults & rectifications by analyzing alarm logs (ZEOL in NOKIA systems).
Traffic Optimizations by parameters and physical changes.
GPRS Optimization.
Optimizing RF Related Parameters such as Neighbor list, HSN, BCCH, BSIC, MAIO and
frequency retuning. Frequency/HSN changes to reduce interference, addition of
missing Neighbors & BSIC changes in order to enhance main routes performance.
Maintaining radio network in terms of TCH blocking by dual rates & parameters FRL & FRU and
TRX re-deployment plan on regular basis respectively.
Analyzing inconsistency of HOs for proper HOs in network and BSC logs (ZEAT in NOKIA
systems).
Providing support to the drive test team and analyzing the drive test log files for optimum
coverage level and proper handovers in the network.
Planning Various parameters related to site creation like Frequency,PCM Planning, NSEI,
Cellname, BCFname, MAIO, HSN,TRX SIGNALLING, Adjacency etc.
Co-ordinate with Switch, BSC, MSC & NOC teams to rectify Site Creation issues.
Planning various parameters for sites near IB (Internatiol boarder) like DMAX,
DISB, EMS, MSR and power controls PMAX etc.).

10 Months Drive Test --Data collection, Real time Log files Analysis with Implementation in Network,
Troubleshooting & to rectify the problems related to system and network.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducting the drive tests as per the design requirements and analyzing data.
Making the required changes for optimizing the network, e.g. changing antenna orientations,
down tilting etc.
Troubleshooting of the network based on customer complaints.
Verifying clutter type (urban, suburban, rural etc.) for Nokia Siemens Networks.
