Each Sub-Committee is assigned a Primary and Secondary National
Negotiator; an Assistant Director, and a secondary member of the National Ford Department; and an Administrative Assistant to oversee the Sub-Committee. As well as supportive roles such as note taker and time keeper. The company is represented by a Chair and Co-Chair. Economic issues are addressed at the Main Table and negotiated directly by Vice President Jimmy Settles, with support from UAW President Dennis Williams office. These supportive components include Legal Counsel, Social Security, Strategic Research, and Insurance. In previous years, all negotiations were held at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. However, for 2015, Vice President Settles has scheduled negotiations in three locations. World Headquarters, The UAW-Ford National Programs Center in downtown Detroit, Michigan, and the Ford Technical Training Center in Lincoln Park, Michigan. These additional venues align for more strategic meetings for each of the various subcommittees.
