Hi Guys, At many of our RWSA (Red Wing Soar ing Association) monthly meetings at the
chapter building, we use the charcoal grill for some burgers and brats. It's great, but a bit messy to
clean up, especially when the coals are still hot and we need to clean up and leave. That said, I would
be willing to purchase a new gas grill and donate it to the club for everyone's use.
Best regards,
Paul C.
The grill is ready for use! Mark Heule can attest, there was 'some assembly required'! Its been through
it's 15 minute burn-in per the instructions, so is ready to go! As the side tables fold down, it should fit
fairly nicely back where the charcoal grill currently resides. I left it out for now. Enjoy!!
Paul C.
I'll get a second propane bottle and donate it to the Chapter so we don't run out! Mark H.

EAA Chapter 237s

Celebration Party!
Event date: Monday, April 27th, 6pm - 9:30pm
Covered by: Randy Delfel

The first official meeting of Chapter 237 was in April of 1965. At the April chapter meeting we celebrated by taking a walk
down memory lane. Some of our past officers shared stories about the earlier days with the chapter and we view hundreds of
pictures both presented and displayed. The feast included pulled pork, turkey and buns along with member supplied potluck.
We had a bevy of door prizes that were handed out to those who were lucky enough to win the drawing! Don Berndt
received a Certificate of Appreciation from the chapter as well! Also, a rare EAA 237 newsletter was seen, issue #1!!! It is
hard to imagine 50 years (especially since I am not even that old), however, after hearing the speakers talk and seeing all
those pictures it really brought out the history, stories and friendships. A great time was had and I hope you didnt miss out!
