Please contact the GA if you have questions. The assignment is designed
using a PC. The color scheme is different on a MAC. You will lose points if
the colors do not match.
Professor James asked you to assist him in helping track donations. The
Excel1_StudentDataFile.xlsx file is available on eCampus.

Instructions

Download and open the Excel1_StudentDataFile.xlsx file from the


course website.

Save it as Excel1_YourLastName_YourFirstName.xlsx (replace
YourLastName and YourFirstName with your actual name).

Change the worksheet name tab Sheet 1 to Excel 1.

Change the worksheet tab color name tab to Green. Resource: Click

5 In the Excel 1 worksheet, enter your first and last name in cell A13.

In the Excel 1 worksheet, enter your UIN in cell A14.

In the Excel 1 worksheet, enter your section number in cell A15.

You will create one new sheet tab after the Answers worksheet tab:

Sort
9 Change Tracking Donations through Sort tabs to the color Green.
10 Select all the data in the Tracking Donations worksheet and click copy.
11 Paste the data into the Sort worksheet.
12 Sort the data that all the same organizations are together in the Sorts
worksheet. The first four organizations should be the Amnesty
International. You need to make sure to
keep all the data together with the corresponding rows.
13 Click on the Answers worksheet. Create a formula totaling the total
donation for each organization. =F2+F3+F4+F5 is not the correct
formula. Points will be deducted if use. (There are many resources
located on the Internet to show you how to create a formula.)

14 Click in Cell 16 on the Answers worksheet and use the AutoSum to find
the Grand Total. AutoSum must be used.
15 Click on the Answers worksheet. Create a formula averaging the total
donation for each organization.
16 Click in G16 on the Answers worksheet and use the AutoSum to find
the Grand Average. AutoSum must be used.
17 Click in B20 and type Largest Donation.
18 Click in B21 and type Smallest Donation.
19 Click in cell 20 on the Answers worksheet and use a formula to find the
largest donation. You will not include the Grand Total.
20 Click in cell 21 on the Answers worksheet and use a formula to find the
smallest donation.
21 Click in F20 and type Largest Average.
22 Click on F21 and type Smallest Average.
23 Click in cell G20 on the Answers worksheet and use a formula to find
the largest average donation.
24 Click in cell G21 on the Answers worksheet and use a formula to find
the smallest average donation.
25 Click Save and submit on eCampus.
Deliverables:
Submit your completed workbook on eCampus. To submit a deliverable on
eCampus, you must do the following:
A Click the Add Attachments button and upload your workbook file. You
will have one file to submit.
B After you have uploaded the attachment, you must click the Submit
button.
***After submitting your homework, please review your final submission by
clicking the filename of your uploaded workbook and confirming the file can
be opened and that you uploaded the correct file. You will not get to
resubmit because you didnt check your submission after being submitted.
Once it is graded, there will not be any resubmissions of any kind.
You will get a zero if you click submit and dont attach the files.
You will get a zero if you attach the files but dont click submit.
Please check your submission after each attempt.
