Henleys acclaimed solo career includes

into ihe Bock & Roll Haliof Fame in 1998,
and wiii receive the 20'15 Kennedy Center
Honors later this year, as a member of

the Eagles.

Awards, numerous gold and platinum
records and performed sold-out concefi
tours worldwide. He makes hisAusfin
City Limits debut tonight to promote his
newest album, Cass County.
A respected, popular and critically
celebrated musrcal artist, Henley is
a founding member, voca|st and
songwriter of the Eagles, who pioneered
and epitomized a musical style of
country folk, rhythm and b,lues, rock, and
pop and has become one of the most
rnfluential bands in America.

Cass County, his fifth studio album,

and first solo album in 15 years, will be
released on September 251h. Recorded
primarily in Nashville and Dallas the album
includes guest appearances from Merle
Haggard, Miranda Lambert, Mick Jagger,
Maftina McBride, Jamey Johnson, Aiison
Krauss, Vince Gilland Dolly Parlon.

When asked about making the album,

Henley exclaimed, "l can truthfully say,
I enjoyed making this record more tfran
any record I've made in my career
because of the people who parlicipated."

the longest-running iive music television show
Austin CiU Limits, KLFU has also worked on

documentaries Citizen Architect and Last
Best Hope. The station also produces local
shows including Overheard with Evan Smith,
Central Texas Gardener and Arts in Context.
