Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College


(AKGEC) established in 1998, is one
of the premier institutions affiliated to
Mahamaya Technical University,
Noida. The college offers B. Tech
programmes in six branches of
engineering, M. Tech in five disciplines
of engineering and MCA Programme.
The college is the recipient of the Academic excellence Award for two
consecutive years (2008-09, 2009-2010) from H.E the Governor of U.P.

The centre is equipped with standard training


cell comprising of KUKA KR-16 Industrial Robot
with required auxiliary equipments. This
training cell is capable of performing multitude
of operations used for welding, painting, gluing
and other essential industrial operations. In
addition to this, a robotics computer simulation
lab the centre has with latest industrial robotics simulation Software like SimPro &
SimLayout, used to design, develop and simulate robotic operations for different
manufacturing establishments.

The Program & Contents


AKGEC-KUKA Industrial Training Center uses an Integrated Systems Engineering
Approach to conduct hands-on training programs. The objective or aim of this
2 days program is to guide personnel working on industrial robotic systems and to
get familiar with the safe
usage of robot system. This
program bridges the Technology Gap
between the technical expertise required to
operate & maintain modern technology and the
knowledge & skills of the work force. The following areas
would be covered under this workshop:

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, jointly with KUKA Robotics (India), has set up
India's first Industrial Robotics Training Centre for Educational Institutions at AKGEC,
Ghaziabad. The AKGEC-KUKA Training Centre is setup to produce highly skilled
technical manpower in the field of Industrial Robotics. The trained manpower will
help Indian Manufacturing Industry to adopt latest technologies to improve quality
and work condition with high productivity.
