REASONS FOR THE DELAYS

Authorities Delay
Site Obstruction
:

o Removal of underground drainage pipes from the site resulted in project on hold.
o Project restarted on 18th November 2013.
Power Connection Delay
:
Delay 155 Days

Bank, Civil Contractor & Authorities
o Power was connected to Farwaniya Branch on 30th March 2015 which was on hold

from 26th October 2014.

Civil Contractor delayed the submission of required documents to get the NOC from

KFB delayed the NOC from Municipality.

Bank has pending dues for the other locations delayed the MEW Payment for the

Project.
Electrical Room Works Delay
:

o Fifteen days delay was due to MEW Cut Out Box Installation which resulted in
delaying Civil and Electrical works inside the Electrical Room.

Contractors Delay

Basement Floor Concrete Works

Pending Works after Power Connection

Since the project was on hold for more than 6 months period, Contractors were

working on different sites resulted in re-mobilization.

Carpet installation was delayed due to the delay in Final Painting by the Civil
Contractor.

Testing & Commissioning

HVAC T & C was rejected due to variation in the CFM readings. Rebalancing for the

Review period.
