LONG APPLICATION PERIOD

HELP can be purchased anytime within 360 days after

delivery. HELP has 4 different price settings based on the
elapsed time in days and the hour meter value. For example,
if a customer purchases HELP within 90 days from the date of
delivery, the price of HELP will be cheaper than purchasing it
after 91 days but within 180 days.

STANDARD PLUS

This program extends the standard

warranty term. Components
covered are the same as the
s t a n d a r d w a r r a n t y. U s u a l l y o u r
standard warranty term is one year
or until the specified service meter
re ading (whicheve r come s f irst).
This program extends the term of
s p e c i f i e d s e r v i c e m ete r re ad i n g
beyond the yearly term.

POWER TRAIN

This program extends the warranty

terms for hydraulic cylinders, main
pumps, swing bearing, travel
motors, swing motors, control
valves, etc. Please contact to your

components that are covered by
this program.

HELP is part of Hitachi SUPPORT CHAIN, supporting Hitachi

customers throughout the machine lifetime with authorized
Hitachi dealer and Hitachi genuine parts.
As an additional benefit, each HELP contract includes oil
analysis performed through the authorized Hitachi, dealer
at the time of periodical maintenance. This will allow you
to carefully monitor the health of your machine throughout
the duration of the HELP contract.
Full machine performance can only be achieved by
utilization of the service support of an authorized Hitachi
dealer in combination with the reliable quality of Hitachi
genuine parts.

HITACHI EXTENDED LIFE PROGRAM

Hitachi Extended Life Program
All new Hitachi equipment has our comprehensive
manufacturer's warranty. These days however, equipment
owners feel they need more protection because of severe
conditions on the job, or to minimize unpredictable
equipment repair costs. To meet these customer demands,
Hitachi provides a unique extended warranty program
called Hitachi Extended Life Program, or HELP.

CASE
CASE 1

When a customer purchases the 24 months / 3,000 hours Standard Plus,

the warranty is effective from the date of delivery to 24 months after
or till the hour meter value reaches up to 3,000 hours. The coverage
condition is the same as the Standard.

CASE 3

When a customer chooses the 12 months / 1000 hours Power Train, the
Power Train coverage under the condition of Power Train is effective
after the expiration of Standard (12 months / 2000 hours) to 24 months
from the date of delivery or up to the hour meter value of 3000 hours.

CASE 4
CASE 2

When a customer purchases the 12 months / 3000 hours Standard Plus,

the period of 12 months and the coverage condition are the same as the
Standard; however, the hour meter value is extended to 3,000 hours
whereas the Standard expires at 2,000 hours. This is an ideal plan for
the high operation rate machine.

When a customer purchases the 24 months / 3,000 hours Standard Plus

and the 12 months / 1000 hours Power Train, the coverage under the
same condition as the Standard is effective from the date of delivery to
24 months after or up to 3,000 hours of the hour meter value (Standard
Plus). In addition to this, the Power Train under the condition of Power
Train is effective from 24 months after the date of delivery or 3,000
hours to 36 months after the date of delivery or up to 4000 hours.

There are many combinations of the number of months and the hour meter value you can select from, please contact to your nearest HITACHI dealer.
The coverage will be expired based on the selected number of months or the hour meter value, whichever comes first.
