May 2015 June 2015
Power generation From Biomass using Fuel Cell Technology

Assessed the currently available technologies for Biomass to energy conversion with an extensive literature review.

Suggested the scheme of a new and possibly more efficient way for power generation from waste with a tentative process
description. Simulated the Scheme on ASPEN Plus.

The process has ability of simultaneous waste treatment which gives it the potential to be implemented in countries like India.
Research Assistant, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT (BHU) Varanasi
July 2014 Present
Advisor: Dr. A.S.K. Sinha, Head of the Department, Chemical Engineering, IIT (BHU)
Study of sintering in silica based Nickel catalyst at high temperature and different environmental conditions

The project involved study of sintering as a major cause of catalyst deactivation in many potential high temperature industrial
catalytic processes like steam reforming for hydrogen production etc.

Synthesized nickel catalyst supported on silica from different methods and performed the sintering at high temperature under
oxidative and reductive atmosphere.
