Malachi 2:10
(10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?)
God created man.
So with that established, let us go unto another scripture.
Job 33:4
(4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.)
The Holy Ghost is also known as the Spirit of God in the bible, and it is clear that God created man, and here it is showing that the Spirit of God created man.
So was it a plurality that created man?
Genesis 1:26-27
(26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the
cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.)
So verse 26 shows that it was an "us" (plural) that created man, and then verse 27 mentions the word so, which is talking about the previous verse, so it says, so
"God" (singular) created man.
So verse 26 just shows that the one who created man was a plurality, and verse 27 shows who this plurality that created man was, which is God.
So is the Holy Ghost, Jesus, and the Father one?
1 John 5:7-8
(7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.)
So these three do not only agree in one, but are also one, it's these three, these three, these pluralities, that are one!!!
Now some might say that there is only one God, and in this one God, there is only one person, which is Jesus.
Well for one thing, is that we have established that they are three.
But another question might arise, is not Jesus the Father?
Well I will show scriptures which prove that Jesus is not the Father, and even though Jesus was God when he came as a man on earth, he was still very much God, but
also was an example to us of how we should serve God.
John 20:21
(21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.)
Luke 23:46
(46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.)
Jesus in Luke cried to the Father which shows that he was not the Father, and in John he clearly shows that the Father sent him, which distinguishes him from the
Father.
Now some might say well what about Isaiah 9:6.
Well ok, let us go there.
Isaiah 9:6
(6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty
God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.)
Even though it is well known that this scripture is referring to Jesus, and Jesus is known here as the Everlasting Father, does not mean that Jesus is God the Father, for it
is clear in the New Testament that he is not, but it just means that Jesus also has the title of Father, and in a sense he is our Father, because he took part in creating
man, and makes us born again christians.
So this is just referring to a title that Jesus has, and not the fact that he is the person of God the Father.
Here is a clear scripture of a greeting of the apostle Paul to the church of Galatia, which shows a distinguishing of Jesus from the Father, which was quite a bit after
Christ's death and ressurection.
Galatians 1:3
(3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,)
So you can clearly see, by comparing scriptures, with scriptures carefully, that God is one God, yet three persons.
Amen.
