not have food, clothes and pure water. People are drinking polluted water and suffering from
many fatal diseases. So we also need medicines.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to send relief goods for the flood
affected people as early as possible in order to save our life.

14. Application for Canteen in the school campus.
Sir,
We, the students of your school beg to state that there was no canteen in our school campus. Most
of the students come from long distance. They have to stay in the school for a long time. To pass
this long time we need good tiffin. But for want of a canteen we have to take tiffin from roadside
restaurants. It is both costly and unhygienic. So we need a canteen in the school campus urgently.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to set up a canteen in the school
campus as early as possible.
15. Application for the change of an elective subject.
Sir,
I beg most respectfully to state that I am a student of class IX of your school. I took up History,
Economics and Geography as my elective subjects and Home Economics as my 4 th subject. But
now Geography seems very hard to me and I find hardly any interest in this. So, I decided to take
up Home Economics in lieu of this subject.
May, I therefore, pray and hope that you would be king enough to consider my case and permit
me to change my elective subject and oblige thereby.
16. Application for opening an English language club.
Sir,
With due respect I on behalf of the students of class 9 and 10 of your school would like to draw
your kind attention that we badly feel the necessity of an English language club in our school. It
will provide our students with an opportunity to develop their English language skill. An English
language club will help them to practice conversation in English and thus they can improve in
English.
