Academic Review Day

Remember to check
the School Bulletin for
more information.

As of the beginning of term we are following a new

timetable as shown below. Students are expected arrive
to school promptly at 8:30am for the start of their first
lesson so that they do not cause disruption to others
learning. The timetable will run on a fortnightly basis,
week Blue and week Gold. Please ensure that you check
your childs diary to ensure that they are arriving to
school with the correct equipment for their lessons.

The senior netball teams started the year

with a bang with an away fixture against
Waldegrave. Excellent performances from
our girls, but we were outplayed by a
strong Waldegrave squad. Players of the
Match were Daisy Regan and Florence
West. Well done.
The first Year 7 boys rugby match takes
place in 2 weeks time, and this week the
team were straight back into action as they
were put through their paces by London
Welsh and Ealing Club players, Alan and
Alex. Bring it on!
As always, see our Facebook page for
pictures and fixture list. Just click

Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme

We are delighted that we will once again be involved in the Jack Petchey Achievement Award
scheme. We will be looking to give the award to 9 outstanding students over the next academic
year. All students and staff are invited to send nominations, and more information is on the Jack
Petchey noticeboard.

Jack Petchey Leaders Award

This award is linked to the Achievement Award scheme, and enables schools to honour the
dedication and commitment of staff and volunteersparticularly those who go the extra mile
to support young people. The Jack Petchey Foundation realises that lots of the great work,
projects and schemes that young people are able to access and participate in, would simply not
be possible without the support of their adult leaders. We are pleased to announce that this
award has been given to Ms Busby in recognition of the many projects and opportunities she
gave her students last year.

Individual School Photographs

These will be taken for all student groups except Year 7, on Wednesday 23rd September during the
morning periods. If parents would like to have a sibling photograph taken then the students should make
their own way to the Drama Hall during break or lunch time.

Reminder .
Academic Review Day has changed to Thursday 8th October. A letter was sent to parents on Tuesday
via teachers2parents email outlining the aim of the day, and individual appointments for students/parents
will go out early next week.

New Extra-Curricular Clubs Timetable September 2015

Homework Club
The school will be running a Homework Club in the Library
from Monday 14th September.
The club will offer PC access in a quiet, safe environment
where learning resources and adult supervision are available
from 8:00am

until 4:30pm each school day.

Students also have access to printing in

the library as long as there are sufficient
funds on their printing account.
We look forward to welcoming you.

Jesus said to him, I am

the life. No one comes
to the Father except
through me.
John 14:6

Today we pray,
Grant us, gracious God, Willing feet to walk
the extra mile for the sake of love; To give and
not to count the cost; To reach out to those in
need without seeking reward; And to welcome
neighbour and stranger with an open heart.
Amen
