CIU Athletics Needs Your Help!

Do you know any high quality students that want to play intercollegiate
sports?
We are currently recruiting students to compete as a CIU Ram Athlete this
comingFall 2012! We need athletes in the following sports: Womens
Volleyball, Mens Soccer, Men & Womens Cross Country.
If you know of a student-athlete who would be a good fit for CIU,
please contact Athletics Director Kim Abbott at KAbbott@ciu.edu.

Singer and songwriter, Laura Story ('03), received her first Grammy for the song

The Kingdom Impact Award, which recognizes alumni that vibrantly reflect the
core values of CIU, was presented to Adrian Despres ('92). South Carolina
Gamecocks head football coach, Steve Spurrier, whose father, Graham, was a CBC
alumnus, joined in congratulating the Chaplain of his team. Despres is a speaker
with Kingdom Building Ministries and a current member of CIU's Board of Trustees.

Dr. George Murray

Dr. Peter Letchford, former Dean of CBC in 1962, turned 95 this February. He
continues to serve joyfully at First Presbyterian Church in Augusta by teaching a
weekly Bible study for seniors. Looking back on his life, Letchford says he would
hardly change a thing.
