Project Proposal
Project Description:
Brief summary of the project:
1. The Project is located in the western side of Sitio Santa Margarita in Barangay Munting
Tubig near the boundary of Barangay Rizal of Lipa City.
2. The propose project having a total length of 1.361 kilometer has a partial concrete
pavement of 200 meters located at the start of the project, while the rest is a mixture of
earth and gravel surface.
3. The existing road has a total area of 9,786 square meters where the total width for road
right of way is 6.00 meters and 4.00 meters for the proposed concrete pavement.
4. The remaining 1.00 meter on both side of the pavement is normally reserved for future
expansion or road development such as drainage or sidewalk construction.
5. The Road section structure is generally composed of Roadway excavation or subgrade
preparation, aggregate sub base and aggregate base course that ranges from 0.10 to
0,15 meters thick and Portland cement concrete pavement that also ranges from 0.15 to
0.20 meters thick.
6. The project has a design speed 20 to 40 km per hour and that of the super elevation
employ on the road curves are less stiff.
7. Construction methodology shall observe under the Standard Road Specifications of the
Department of Public Works and Highways.
Project Goals and Objectives:
1. To assure the farmers and residents of Sitio Santa Margarita of Barangay Munting Tubig a
quality road that will link to socio economic center of the Municipality of Ibaan,
Batangas.
2. To help farmers provide a convenient time of 10 to 15 minutes for the delivery of their
farm products to Ibaan Public market.
3. To promote economic upliftment in the area.

Target Beneficiaries:
1. 1659 (population) from 367 households residents of Barangay Munting Tubig where 127
of them are farm families
2. Two hundred two (202) regular students of private and public schools of all levels
Project Partner:
1. The Local Government Unit of Ibaan, Batangas has allocated the total amount of
541,953.20 for the concreting of Munting Tubig Farm to Market Road covering 111.51
linear meters
