The Teddy Bears Tail

Characters: Teddy bear, Pink cat, Black dog, Toy dog, Clockwork mouse, Toy monkey, Panda,
Old kite, Donald, a little boy

SCENE 1
Teddy bear

I wish I could bounce!

I do wish I would bounce right up to the mantelpiece then, and see if I could
take a sweet out of the tin there.
I do wish I had a key!
The train has a key, and the clockwork mouse (pointing at the clockwork
mouse), so has the clown.
But I havent!
It isnt fair!
(Looking at the dolls) Look at those dolls! All with hats and coats and dresses
and shoes! And I havent any clothes or accessories.

You have got a nice furry skin. Dont grumble so.

(He looked behind himself. He was shocked to see that he hadnt got a tail!)
Oh, no!
I do not has any tail?
Why? Why?
Where is it?
You never had one, Teddy.
Why? I am also an animal. So, I should has one!
How should I know? (He wagged his own black tail, and very proud of it)
I have got a tail too.
So have I! (she swung her tail and showing off to Teddy)
Wellmine is the longest! (Laugh, then flapped the tail to the bears mouse)
(avoid the toy monkeys tail) Oh, please dont.
This is totally unfair!
(looking at his back) Why havent I got a tail? Have I lost it?
I told you. You never had one. (giggle)
This is not fair!
Oh, it is unbelievable!
No, no, no!
I want, and I must have a tail! I need to get it whatever the way is. Hurm...

(thinking for a while) does anyone can help me?

(Teddy Bear keeps on mumbling and walking to and fro on the stage. The
other animals gradually leave the stage and leave Teddy Bear alone)
Hey! Dont leave me alone. But
I want a tail! I WANT A.TAIL!!!
(stomps his feet and leaves the stage)

SCENE 2
Panda enters the stage.
Panda

Huh! I cannot stand the teddy bear anymore. He keeps on complaining of

why he hadnt a tail.
(mimicking Teddy Bear) Why I hadnt a tail? I want a tail! I want a tail!
Oh, I had enough of all that!

Another toys enter.

Panda

Pink cat

Panda

Mouse
Panda
Dog
Flying kite

There you guys are!

Please, come. I was thinking if we can work together to stop the bears wail
because he has no tail.
For goodness sake, lets give the bear some sort of tail!
Why does the teddy bear wail?
Because he hasnt a tail.
(she giggles, then clap her hand)
Oh, that rhymes!
Shhhhh! Be quiet (pointing his finger to the mouth). I should be the one who
say that.
Now, who are willing to give the bear his tail? (looking at everyone faces)
Clockwork mouse, will you?
No! Never, and ever will I!
(look at his back and brush his tail) I want mine.
How about you, black dog? You have had yours for ages.
Alas! And I want it for ages more!
() I keep my wag in it.
He can have my tail.
