The following are the recommended improvements to the Proforma of

the
Public Land Application:
As to the presentation, the font size should be at least 12 to be
clearly readable. The document should be incorporated into two
separate piece of paper to allow breathing spaces and to avoid
congestion of the factual set of information and the confirming
markings of the applicant and government agency therein. There
should also be a designated area or specific portion to which the 2x2 ID
picture of the applicant should be placed in order to avoid overlapping
of information and material proofs therein.
As to the Content, the conditions, terms, and restrictions imposed on
the applied patent should be clearly and expressly incorporated in the
Public Land Application Proforma so as to fully inform the applicant.
It should also contain the information identifying whether or not the
applicant is a first-time applicant or had already applied to the same or
similar Public Land Application.
Moreover, a watermark should be placed on the Proforma that such
document is the exact replica or reproduction of the authentic
Proforma of the Public Land Application.

Amendments imposed by Republic Act No. 6940 should be reflected
in the pre-printed application form to apprise the public-applicant if
they indeed are duly qualified to apply.

A similar Proforma should be written in the local dialect or language
of the people situated in such district which shall be made available
especially to those applicants who are not well-versed with the English

markings of the applicant and government agency therein.

As to the Content, the conditions, terms, and restrictions imposed on

the applied patent should be clearly and expressly incorporated in the
Application for Residential Free Patent Proforma so as to fully inform
the applicant.
Salient provisions imposed by Republic Act No. 10023 should be
written at the back page of the pre-printed application form to apprise
the public if they are indeed duly qualified to apply. Whereas, Section 1
that states the qualification of the applicant and Section 3 which
provides details of the application and the need for map based
surveys, technical descriptions, and affidavits in such application.
It should also contain the information identifying whether or not the
applicant is a first-time applicant or had already applied to the same or
similar Public Land Application.
