Fred, I thought you should have this draft letter.

Given the substantial number of "factual" statements made in the attached, many of which I do not
believe to be accurate, provable or even well established , I would strongly encourage you to be on the call
among Messrs. Meylan, Adelson and others to discuss its contents. Also, you and perhaps others at LVS should
confer with Rob Goldstein to fully understand the nature and extent of Mr. Cheung's relationship with LVS on
the Vegas side before the retraction letter is sent.

Attached is a draft demand for retraction which must be served by tomorrow. It is certainly a work in progress and must
be vetted by LVS's in house counsel and others. Please provide a copy to Mr. Adelson and ask him to wllOm it should be
forwarded for review. I understand that Gayle Heymann is involved in this process among others.

I am in an arbitration today and tomorrow and will have limited opportunities to talk, other than the lunch hour, until
after 5 pm. My colleague, Shaunt Arevian, is working on the project with me. Should anyone have questions, comments,
proposed changes, etc., please have them contact Shaunt directly.
I would like to have a conference call after 6 pm with Mr. Adelson and any other LVS attorneys he believes should be
involved to discuss the specifics of the letter and the status of the company's investigation to date. Alternatively, we can
have the call tomorrow morning before 8 am WST.

In any event, I want to emphasize that the letter must be served by the close of business tomorrow.
